Girls Bravo season 1: Oh dearie dearie me. So many boobs. So much violence by the girls against our hapless lead character that I am unsurprised he breaks out in hives at the thought of touching one. Some of the stories have been quite good, but it is overflowing with fan service and ridiculously contrived "accidents" which strip the ladies. Can't complain too much, as it was bought just to get the AllTheAnime discount (and only cost £16 for the two seasons).

As part of my effort to watch more of my physical collection, I've started to watch my Melody of Oblivion volumes. I've watched the first seven episodes so far. It's batshit crazy. If I tried to summarize any given episode, I'd have to start off by saying, "I had the weirdest dream last night..." because each episode seems like the weirdest dream you've ever had. I'm liking it in all its bizarre narrative glory. I don't know if it's all going to come together in some kind of cogent way but for now it's a pretty trippy ride.

I liked it but not surprisingly, I like the balance to be weighted in favour of the action and not the family life.
So I rate it like Spy X Family. Good but could be better.

By the Grace of the Gods was reduced in HMV and I was wanting to spend some money.
It is a great feeling when you take a chance and it works out and the S2 is already released.

I suspected that would be your assessment of Buddy Daddies! All good and hey it means I got to enjoy it on Blu-ray for cheap! :D

I liked By the Grace of the Gods ok but was a bit put off when there were random creatures that were just evil and they had to exterminate them as it felt a bit jarring with the rest of the series, but I can see why it has popularity as it is a nice laidback series with a likeable protagonist :)

A Cheeky Angel Episodes 12-14 (English subbed) - Still so entertaining and fun with a loveable bunch of dorks at it's centre :)

Ascendance of a Bookworm Episode 1 (English dubbed) - Will def be continuing with this one, great dub and intriguing premise and Myne's an interesting MC :)

I'm watching this now as well since netflix nabbed it, and I had literally only just signed up to hidive😂 primarily for this show, just as netflix nick all their titles. I have to actively hold myself back to stretch it out (have 2 episodes left)! Look forward to rewatching as soon as season 3 makes an appearance.

Completely agree on the ED, it's just perfect thematically and that track is fantastic, with it's use further enhanced with its slow and menacing start playing within the last few seconds of each episode. I love how they did that in the last season and wasn't expecting it to work even better in this season. Hitsujibungaku have been taking over a lot of op and eds with some great music; reminds me of how I came to know of Yoasobi from the Beastars season one op.
