Sherlock Hound episodes 13-24: excellent fun show. Don't come expecting much of a link to Holmes (apart from locations and some similarities in plot). The English dub was generally good, but regional accents were very dodgy (including the Japanese person who sounded like he was channeling Benny Hill). I was starting to feel sorry for Inspector Lestrade and his band of Keystone Kops. Surely nobody can be that incompetent. Lots of extras, including the pilot episode with different voices.
 
Mononoke the Movie: Phantom in the Rain [English Audio] -
having been picked up by Netflix, figured given what I heard about the series I'd give this a go. The episodic structure of the series more generally means that isn't really difficult to follow at all, and the film itself is a somewhat inventive visual film, following a story set in the Ōoku and where the Medicine seller is featured of course. Outside of perhaps throwing too much at you in a fairly short space of time, this was really entertaining, and sounds there will be more soon enough, with the next film being released in March next year in Japanese theaters. I should watch the TV series at some point too.
1 thing i'd have to make my mind up about that is the TV series had a dub produced in SEA so i'd have to think about which way to watch, perhaps sticking with the original given that (the Medicine Seller would be different no matter which language you pick, having also been recast in Japanese). With this new film, it was very nice to hear Crispin Freeman in a lead once again in the dub (as the Medicine Seller), its been a little while, the other cast also holds their own.

Ah pure nostalgia overdose regarding Jem and the Holograms,i have very fond memories of watching this show with my brother back in the day,always loved the story and characters of the show and was pretty mature for its time and demographic,the anime Aishite Knight (rock n roll kids) always reminded me of Jem and the Holograms even though aside from the musical aspect they have nothing in common,when i see pics or thumbnails of each show they remind me of each other,i think it is the big colourful 80,s glam rock hairdo's that do it lol.

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of 80s US cartoons but Jem is def one of the better ones, it's comforting and cosy but deals with more challenging topics here and there, and I find it so funny how The Misfits (and their manager Eric Raymond tbf) keep doing such dreadful things but never end up in jail. My recent (and currently still ongoing) viewing of this and Buffy the Vampire Slayer are really making me want to read some of the comics for both (Season 8 and onwards for Buffy, and the Jem and the Holograms reboot). And yes they have amazing hair! XD

The Dangers in My Heart s2 eps 1-6
Man this gets you in the feels every episode, especially at the end! Lots of funny moments too, the chocolate making/valentines part being the funniest in this batch.

Brighter than the Dawning Blue episodes 6-12 (Complete. A predicable romance anime that didn’t overly engage but was otherwise a harmless enough watch.) 3/5

The Dangers in My Heart s2 eps 7-13
Excellent second series, loved Kyotaro's growth and so many sweet scenes. Dipped into misunderstanding territory when the main strength instead was the teenage awkwardness and it's not quite the funniest rom-com, although definitely the sweetest.
Art and animation were as I remembered.
