Ushio and Tora-Episodes 7-9

Princess Principal-Episode 9

It's not very often you see depictions of racism in anime, so it was nice to see it tackled here. The broad message of being accepting of other cultures and trying to embrace them is a very welcome one.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventures: Battle Tendency episodes 15-26 (Complete, for now... This is such a fun series and it's totally earned its place in the anime fandom. It's also a rare instance that I sat through the ED every time. Can't Go wrong with Roundabout.) 4/5

Just finished Eureka Seven, now moving on to Eureka Seven AO. Didn't like the end of Eureka Seven and one episode into AO is a bit meh. I'll give it a chance and see if it picks up.

Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine episodes 1-13 (Complete. This was a great series that explored the backstories of several key Lupin the Third characters, particularly the titular lead, whose past is shown through bizarre and disturbing visuals. The art style is gorgeous and the music, produced by Shinichiro Watanabe is great as well. Looking forward to watching the original series. Also need to check out the films that came out that were made by the same director.) 4/5

Glad you enjoyed Fujiko, it really is a great series that gives a fascinating insight into most of the cast without completely destroying the mystery surrounding some of them. The original Lupin series is pretty good too. if you're giving it a go then likely you don't mind older animation, it's aged rather well though having said that. It's pretty subversive in places for something made in the 70's. It has a lot of clever humour and plot twists that subvert your expectations as to what's going to happen at times. I picked up the US Discotek DVD release a while back and really enjoyed it.

Loving your avatar as well bud....you can't go wrong with Duke Togo!

Dragon Ball-Episodes 74 and 75

Aho Girl-Episode 10

That manga section was surprisingly well animated.

Ushio and Tora-Episodes 10 and 11

New Game Season 2-Episode 9

That scene with Narumi and Nene really made me dislike Narumi. Honestly can't say I'm too fond of either of the new starters, they just seem kinda unfriendly towards the other girls.

Just as an aside on the Fujiko Mine series, I thought it was interesting that, while you could debate whether or not it's canon with the original first season of Lupin, it does kind of segue into it. Mild spoiler maybe? Lupin and Jigen are working together, but have not met Goemon; Goemon has feelings for Fujiko

Yeah I see what you mean. From what I've heard the overall franchise has a negative continuity meaning that all kinds of backstory are apparently rewritten from story to story but some elements of Fujiko Mine do sync up with Lupin the Third.

Knight's & Magic ep 10. That showdown which has been building up for a good few episodes was over in less than a minute. The pacing of this series is all over the place.

Restaurant to Another World ep 9.

Sagrada Reset ep 21. This series is actually quite interesting now that Soma is more prominent in the story, while those two alpha males are busy trying to out-manoeuvre each other. It's probably not a coincidence that it gets good when the lead girl is largely out of events (after twenty episodes I still can't remember her name, which is telling).

Serial Experiments Lain ep 4-8. The 'Wired' desperately needs a Google equivalent.
