Death Note Netflix original film
As a film it's OK. Defoe definitely fits as Ryuk and the guy who played L was pretty good.
As an adaptation well.......
Umm it's called Death Note and most of the names are the same and one of them kills people by writing their names in a book! And another one tries to stop the killings. Yep that's pretty much it.

Sekirei: Pure Engagement (English dub) - Episodes 10-13 (Complete)
Sekirei: Pure Engagement (English dub) - OVA

Pretty good second season despite being mostly non-canon to the original source material.

Shin Godzilla

Saw this at the cinema during the week. I really enjoyed it, but I can see how it'd be a bit Marmite: it's like a disaster movie where nothing can get done because of bureaucracy and governmental red tape.

Now for Evangelion 3.0+1.0...

Hunter x Hunter - Episodes 44 - 50 - Man I like Kurapika a hell of a lot more than the rest of the group tbh, and I'm not just saying that because he seems OP af (or because he has a ridiculously attractive voice that's confusing me....don't you judge me lol). Hopefully they meet up again and he features more. Still, 50 episodes in and still enjoying it a lot.

Tanya the Evil ep7-8

Promised one of my friends that I'd finish this, but I'm not sure I'd be bothering otherwise. The aerial combat is genuinely exciting, but I would enjoy the story that surrounds it more if it felt like anyone or anything posed much of a threat to Tanya's progress. They make no bones about her being an awful person, but the series still seems to treat her like a precious cinammon bun.
