Yeah definitely XD. Haibane renmei has some cute girls I guess but I wouldn't call it light. There are quite a few light mushishi episodes though.

Excellent mystery horror series, can definitely see why it's ranked so highly as it's a very intriguing story while being unsettling at the same time. Especially when the end of it, they stopped the deaths for that year but it can likely occur year after year.
