Where to Buy Anime in the UK (was Anime Online Retailers)

Well, I've been checking out UP again and I've just realized that I've already signed up for an account on that site (Well, to buy a volume of +Anima) and now, I'm unable to retrieve an account on the site. How do I get my password from the site?

If you send them an email I'm sure they'll get it sorted for you ASAP - they're good like that. Or you could just create a new account.

I've sent an email account to them, but in the event they don't reply at all, would I be able to use my card on the new account if it's already registered to a different one?

Not that I have ever done anything so silly myself *ahem* but I can confirm you can use exactly the same details on a second account without any problems; the only thing which needs to be unique is the e-mail address.

And a third. I think I'm on my fourth now >_>;

You can always add a note to them in the comments to admit to your mistake but they're pretty relaxed, thankfully.

It's got to the stage where I can barely remember which email address is the most recent one, so I just get frustrated and make a new account before exhausting all likely permutations ;_;

Are you that worried about using your actual email address?

Ah, ****. I had an inkling something might me amiss when they nixed the rewards program early this year (or last year, can't remember). Their reasonable prices and lack of customs faff involved will be missed.

This is one of the reasons I don't like pre-paying for orders. Just the other day I had a refund issued, but who knows whether I'd have got it from them had I not cancelled when I did. Hopefully everyone who has outstanding orders that won't be fulfilled will get their money back from either the store or their credit card company.

Such a shame to hear about this, that pretty much marks the end of any US purchases for Non-Anime for me personally, there's still UP1 for the anime but that's only going to be for must haves only...which to be honest isn't that high to begin with!

I'm thinking of getting Cowboy Bebop on DVD and I was wondering; which shop is better, Zavvi or The Hut?

Never heard of the hut, and when I looked into Zavvi becuase they seemed cheap a lot of people had bad things to say about them.

Unfortunately looking at Amazon and Play.com it also seems very much like Cowboy Bebop is out of print, Hut & Zavvi list it at 10 days aswell which sounds like they don't have it in stock. No sign of it on ebay either.

Best I could find was the US version at http://www.up1.co.uk/Details/C0884

Zavvi is the far-flung realm where item listings go to breathe their last. Devoid of stock, they leave their mortal coils for the world beyond. To their dear customers they leave the legacy of their fatal words: Usually dispatched within 30 days.

Can I just try either of those stores anyway? They probably have at least a couple of DVDs left in their warehouses. And if they don't have it , then it's off to the Used market.

Speaking of which, does anyone know of a good used DVD retailer?

EDIT: Also, from the comments I'm getting, I might as well use The Hut.
