Speaking of which, does anyone know of a good used DVD retailer?
EDIT: Also, from the comments I'm getting, I might as well use The Hut.
Zavvi and The Hut are indeed one and the same, and thus equally useless. You may as well place an order at one of them, but don't expect to actually receive anything.reborn said:Last I recall Zavvi is apart of The Hut Group.
Bad experience with them?fabricatedlunatic said:Zavvi and The Hut are indeed one and the same, and thus equally useless. You may as well place an order at one of them, but don't expect to actually receive anything.reborn said:Last I recall Zavvi is apart of The Hut Group.

I remember them announcing a service where you order online a pick up in store years ago, don't know what happened to it.reborn said:Don't know how long it's been around (can't recall seeing it a few weeks back) but apparently HMV now have a click and collect service.
Apparently the recent price changes (disasters?) have played a part in allowing it to happen.

Those are totally, definitely bootlegs. The prices, the fact the DVDs are all region free and that a quick Google reveals many dissatisfied customers (some of whom say they never even received anything) make ordering from them sound like a bad idea.animefreak17 said:ok i think it might be but i wanna you guys to have a look

is this a bootleg site cause i think it might be
Fairly low, I'd say. The Cowboy Bebop Anime Legends set appears to be out of print, so if a store doesn't have any on hand it's unlikely they'll be able to source copies. But you never know - someone might find a handful of sets behind a sofa somewhere, or maybe Beez plan to reprint the series it still owns the licenses for.theirsbailiff said:What's the chance of Tesco actually delivering the product?
They only retained their Gundam licenses and while I've only seen one volume of Bebop and one episode of Gundam, I'm pretty sure they aren't connected.fabricatedlunatic said:or maybe Beez plan to reprint the series it still owns the licenses for.

http://www.uk-anime.net/newsitem/MCM_Lo ... nd-up.htmlAnother important question surrounds the future of Beez Entertainment - with an official statement on the way, Andrew confirmed that Bandai will continue to hold onto the rights for all Gundam-based series, but that all other properties have seen their rights return to the original licensors. With that in mind, work is currently underway to ensure that as many of these licenses as possible go to new homes with a view of ensuring that they remain available in the UK, possibly in an upgraded form in the case of Code Geass as one particular example.
