What you guys doing right now.

Wondering why, on a nice warm evening when I can sit with my windows wide open, we don't have the easy-on-the-ears Italian ambulance siren.

Aaah. Positively relaxing compared to ours. Doesn't help that I live near a junction and they crank it up to "manic" as they go past.

No, it's definitely better. I can sit enjoying a beer in Rome and barely flinch when I hear that siren, I jump out of my ******* skin every time one goes past my window at home. The horrendous piercing wail of ambulances in the UK is more like shouting "Everybody, stop what you're doing and look at us! Panic! Panic! PANICPANICPANIC!!!" to Italy's "Yeah, there's an emergency going on somewhere, so just be aware of us."

On Topic: Finally having a cup of coffee. The saga of getting to this stage has been long and tedious. Boil kettle > Customers > Boil kettle again > Realise mug isn't clean > Customers > Clean mug > Customers > Boil kettle again > Customers > Make coffee > Drink coffee.

A Clerks quote springs to mind. Or rather it would, if I weren't self employed.

One of the many reasons i can now think of not to drink coffee ;p, by the time you finally get to drink it, its probably cold. I'll stick to a cuppa tea during a break or when i'm home, or just some energy drink if need be.

Work is a farce at the moment, the shop is a bloomin' bomb site AND we have a refit starting next week for four weeks...which we will still be open during. Needless to say, with the highland games during that time, it will be rather hectic. Thankfully however i will be working overnight, so it won't be as bad for myself...bar the fact i have a resit to study for in a couple weeks =/

Anyone want to do my work for me and not mind not getting paid for it?

Don't get your hopes up. I've been waiting 2-3 for Morrisons to get back to me and i'd been assured they'd contact me within a week.
 
Urgh... Trying to get my head together, after finding which/what agencies are around me, sorted them out and then plan on how I'm gonna tackle them (which ones to go for 1st for example).

I can see I'm gonna hate tomorrow, when I'm actually going out to find these places... ARGH!!!

It's 2 game journalists, who are part the awesome small team that run giantbomb.com playing through P4.
It works because they're hilarious guys who make it really funny while they're actually enjoying the game.

Just got back home after a pretty successful hunt for Job Agencies. Gotta get back in contact with some, but it's better than nothing. Had an old friend forcefully escorting and help find these places for me, so we chatted on-the-go and then split.

However, I was/am still furious at what happened while nipping into Morrisons for Frosties and fuel...
I was just driving there when I saw 1 of the 3 chavs in a blue car just in front of me throw water at these 2 young "Arab" women. "You f***ing racist..." was the this I said out loud, but I didn't say anything to their faces, as they were bigger, they out-numbered me and there would be serious trouble if I did.
Sad thing was, the went into Morrisons just before me, and then came out afterwards. I just gave them a stare as I went past...
 
Drinking a refreshing glass of water from my new Brita filter (****, smoothies? Filtered water? I've officially become middle-class... I do have to fill it from the bath tap though as my sinks aren't deep enough, so that stops me feeling totally pretensious).

I'd just had enough of our tap water smelling and tasting like goddamned sulfur half the time. I live in a spa town, and I have to pay Yorkshire Water for this ****, then filter it again at my own expense? Utility providers are all ******* leeches, they do the bare minimum and then force us to pay through the nose for it. Damn them all to hell.
