Just been sent home from work since there's no water pressure there. Just one small air bubble and chaos breaks out. Got to love it.

Now to wait for the dreaded phone call to say to come back in...
 
Trying not to bite my teeth together. Came back from a dentist appointment to get a 2hr job done for 45min?! Nah, they did what they could and scheduled for another week. Wasn't the surgeon's fault the check-up guy failed.

Looking forward to actually having soup for a change.
 
Well, lastnight was interesting to say the least;

bowling with 2 of my best mates, one took my turn because he's a daft bastard who didn't look at the screen before going up, so i went to take his turn and threw the first ball, got to the second throw and he runs infront of me swings back the ball for a throw and crushes my left middle finger inbetween the ball in my hand and his bowling ball flung backwards.... had ice on it for the majority of the night, went black instantly and numb so atleast no pain was felt. I stole 2 of his goes and screwed his chances of winning lol

Went to the pub after that and my other mate snaked the chair from beneath me as i was about to sit down, resulting in me on my arse in the middle of a busy pub on student night and covered in half of my pint. Results; sat on my chair and throwing the remainder of the pint at him.

You know your all best mates when things like lastnight happen and you all laugh about it :p
 
Trying to decide whether to buy a new PC or not.

I really want one, and I really want some new/upcoming games on PC rather than console... but I end up hardly playing PC games, even after I buy a new PC (this has happened three times in the past). ^^;
 
Just typing up some college assignments, damn easier than my A Levels that's for sure.

Also listening to the Thundercats theme, a longer version to be precise, which is awesome!
 
A day of wonder and excitement was shared by all today. At 09:00 I began assisting exhibitors to unload their wares for a food fair in the village hall. At 16:00 precisely, I began transporting the now-empty containers to the vehicles from which they originated. Soon thereafter I assisted in altering the seating arrangement from the Wurlitzer organ recital in the adjacent room, so as to be more suitable for the following concert. This task required waiting until the recital's audience had vacated the building; some of whom were as young as 52.

Looking over things in my mind and thinking "how the hell am i going to balance my social life, spending habits and whats left of my wage for the rest of the month" and "f**king gotta be kidding me with this 5 week month B.S

When you say re-install. Do you mean as in properly re-installing the operating system or just running a back up disk?

If its the either the chances are that you have a bug in the registry, sitting through all these re-installs and back ups. Otherwise, your hardware has a fault, either a dodgy wire messing up the connections OR your hard drive itself is on the way out.

Run Avast and see if there are any virus' or a trojan sat in the registry, if nothing comes up then my betting is a hardware problem or as a last resort possibly a faulty installation.

Operating system. Running all kinds of tests, but the thing will ultimately crash even if you so much as breath on it.

Trust me, I think it's well and truly screwed :lol:
 
In this case, i think it maybe a hardware issue. Problem is, it could be anything, if i had to pin down what i think maybe the main causes i'd say;

Check to see the fan isn't clogged full of dust, if the pc is randomly turning itself off that maybe the cause (might not be the problem but its always good to keep that clean)

Check all the cables are in properly, there's also a chance that they could be damaged.

But mainly, your Harddrive sounds like its dying, i hope you've backed up everything because when that starts doing this sorta thing.... there's no way of getting the info back.

The pound is currently being reamed by the dollar as well, handy because I have a borderline customs rape value Second Spin package en route. I'm not expecting it to arrive until October, by which time the rates will have changed /o\
