How is Volume 2 compared to Volume 1? Is it just more of the same or has something drastically improved/changed? I know the translation changed, so I'm wondering if that has had a knock-on effect too.

I felt that there was an improvement. I couldn't say how or what other than the flow felt more natural. It's really more of the same content wise but I enjoyed reading Vol 2 more than Vol 1, could be a better translation or it could be me getting used to the characters though given how I wanted to actually continue reading Vol 2 when Vol 1 was a struggle I'd say the former was a big plus that I was actually unaware of, though it makes a lot of sense to how I felt coming out of the book.
The story is moving forward nicely, things happen! there's development for some of the characters
but I'd like it if they stopped introducing more female characters and added some dudes cause I found picking up all the bloody names & putting faces to them difficult haha.
