What manga are you reading now?

Finally got round to reading both Berserk volumes 12 and 13, the only question i ask myself is why i took so long to finally get to them. I can pretty much safely say now that Berserk is my favourite manga series i've read, even if i am hardly anywhere into it, i have Volume 14 here to read which i expect to get through tonight, and then need to return a second copy of it(got a second one by accident) and get 15 instead.

Also read through Fruits Basket volume 7, which was another good read, its a nice escape i think from more serious series. Read through D Gray-man volume 2 as well, tis quite good as well, so methinks i shall be continuing with it.
 
Finished volume 14 of Berserk a couple hours ago, finally finished where the anime(i expect) ends, all such a brilliant read, i need to get round to finishing the anime now, and continuing with the manga.

Do that. I've seen the Berserk manga a little bit after vol. 15, but I've completed the anime. This is one series that I wanted to have more animated. It's one of those series that the art gets better and better with time. Not saying it's bad, but the art in the beginning seem poor compared to newer chapters.

There were one scene in a port that looks astonishing.

I got it from my sister on Monday, read it through once, then went back to the beginning and started re-reading it again straight away, it's that good!
 
The Berserk volumes I've ordered have arrived on time, so I've read the first volume up to know. Can't say I was expecting what was shown on the first page ^^'... and it's gore... well you can tell it's a Dark Horse manga volume! The problem with all of this, however, is that volumes 1 and 3 have arrived and I'm still waiting on volume 2. Which means I have to wait a few days before I can read volume 3 -_-.
 
Tsubasa: Vol. 1

Think Kingdom Hearts, just with CLAMP worlds and characters as opposed to Disney ones. The series is basically just fan service (the non-panty kind, that is) for fans of CLAMP's other works. It's neither bad nor amazing - somewhere between 7-8/10.
 
I just started reading the original RoD manga, having seen the TV and the OAV. It's fun, but the fluidity of the action scenes get quite confusing in static shots, and the constant mistranslation of "The British Library" as "The Library of England" is getting on my nerves.
 
Has any read/is reading the Berserk manga? Is it worth the read coz I hear there's alot to go threw? The anime made me want to find out more. Heh.

On behalf of my husband who is completely addicted to Berserk I suggest you check it out. The artwork massively improves as it builds up and it's a wonderfully detailed experience visually. You will also find lots and lots of new story and characters in there. The anime is like a taster for the meatier manga.

But yeah, like Mistress Rui (lol) says, the artwork gradually progresses and gets better, only downside to Berserk is the releases of chapters, we only get like... 26 chapters a year. But the artwork is so amazing, it's acceptable. A lot more characters and much bigger adventure, later on though in the world of Berserk you'll encounter magic. This puts a few people off as it being a medieval setting. Let's see how it goes, tell me what you think when you hit volume 20, Voddas.
 
Thanks Lupus and Mistress Rui :p Will definately be looking into it. I don't mind what style of anime it is as long as the story keeps me drawn in. If the anime is anything to go buy then I'm sure I'll also get addicted.

Don't mind waiting for chapters either. Claymore releases even less chapters a year so I'm use to the wait. Cheers peops.

@Voddas: I'd say exactly the same as Lupus and Rui, but i was beaten to the punch =p Still, definitely worth getting, and its not too hard to find the manga out here anyway.

On topic, read School Rumble volume 11 last night as well as the latest Fairy Tail chapter, and just finished reading the latest chapters of Bleach and Naruto, which where both pretty decent this time round.
