What Games Are You Playing?

Currently working on PoP Two Thrones (Warrior Within was too insanely difficult so I skipped it ;p ) and Fable Lost Chapters, as well as the occasional revisit to Dynasty Warriors 4.

i've been workin my way through these since christmas

soul calibur 3(got all the storys done plus unlocked ALOT of ****, but got alot more to unlock... still haven't finished chronicles of the sword)

ssx on tour (just gotten to promaster level and can't clear a stage in it no matter how hard i try and i'm good at it!)

sos the final escape(DEADLY but sometimes boring)

and last but by far surrently not the least THE WARRIORS, this game is amazing almost as good as the movie, really captures the dark tone of it but it's hard!

busy at the moment on the last level of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance on the gamecube, and then after that i will carry on with Kingdom hearts: Chain of Memories

Finished kingdom hearts chain of memories...both reverse/rebirth mode and sora's mode...now i am moving onto world of warcraft a bit more and also...trying to think whatelse i should move onto...kingdom hearts hard mode or get a new game :?

I just got Prince of Persia: the Two Thrones today and Makai Kingdom both got the PS2...that should keep me occupied for about er....a little while.

i completed Prince of Persia: The Two thrones back on the 9th...it was easy...but still good...the whole trilogy of them where good. Now i am working on Makai Kingdom. OO SSBM...great game...i may go back on it again sometime.

Bought and finished the X-Box versions of Serious Sam and Serious Sam 2. Now I need to dig out the charger lead for my GBA so I can get back to Golden Sun and FF Dawn of Souls.

I gave up on Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, because a) it was hard, and b) I have no desire to poop myself because of some damn videogame :p (yes, it's just that scary)

erm...after i have completed Makai kingdom i will have no idea what to do...anyone got any challenging games that would be good to have a go at?

Currently playing the demo of SWAT 4, and hoping to get the full game + addon when that comes out.

Very different from most FPS's. Right from the offset you know that this isn't a millitary game, this is a game about the police. Might not seem like much but it makes for a very different play experience. The whole emphasis of the game is saving lives, not killing, so you can forget about going in guns blazing like you would in any other FPS. Even armed perpetrators must be given a chance. Unless there is a very direct threat to you, your teammates, or a civillian, you have no authorisation to use lethal force. It can't just be the case that the suspect is holding a gun, he has to either be pointing it directly at someone, or he has to have discharged it, at which point you are authorised to use lethal force.

It makes for a very tense gameplay experience, where every room you enter is a potential deathtrap. You have to approach each situation with a caution otherwise its very easy to get yourself killed. While it's obviously been re-jigged so that it's more actioney for a gaming audience at home, it gives you an insight into just how difficult this kind of task must be.
