My collectors edition of Flow came today. I haven't seen it yet but I was sold on the trailer alone. It comes with some really cool little collectables, can't wait to watch it. Brian and Charles is my favourite movie I have seen so far this year. It is so charming, unique and heartwarming, I love everything about it. If you love quirky little indie films with a lot of heart I highly recommend it. Arcane, like most popular things, is something I got into late. I am so glad I decided to get it. I have only watched one episode I was blown away. The animation is absolutely gorgeous!

#20: Ishiro Honda Double Feature & Mothra

Eureka Entertainment ran a sale on their website dedicated to Japanese films and they had two older releases that I had yet to pick up for the collection, both happen to be from Japanese director Ishiro Honda and are part of the Masters of Cinema range.

We have the Ishiro Honda Double Feature collection that includes the 1958 film The H-Man (美女と液体人間) and the 1959 film Battle in Outer Space (宇宙大戦争), both are science fiction stories that I hadn't heard of prior to Eureka's release, and this is the second print edition that doesn't include the slipcase but kept the booklet (which will go away in the next print run).

And there's also Mothra (モスラ), the 1961 Japanese film and debut of the iconic Kaiju monster. This is the standard edition version which loses the rigid slipcase but still comes included with a booklet (which will also go away in the next print run).

I recommend giving the audio commentaries a go. They're all pretty interesting.

I've always had a soft spot for Battle in Outer Space. The plot and characters are a bit basic compared to some other Toho SF movies of that era, but the movie does what it says on the tin with gusto. I can't think of another SF movie that did such dynamic space battles until Star Wars rewrote the rule book 17 years later.

Lots of pants and bras from Shein, most of which look super cute and a good comfy fit on me (though underwire takes a little getting used to!), and a few other items from Shein that I really like as well, my friend also got me this lovely illustrated Robin Hood book when he saw it in a charity shop as he knows it's the kind of thing I love, I'm really excited to read it!

I found Queen's Blade S2 on Amazon for £17. That was the total price from the USA to the UK. It was still that price yesterday if anyone is interested.

OMGGG all of these arrived and I love them, particularly the loita dress - it was a bit tight getting it on but now I have, it's really comfortable and it looks utterly lovely, I'm really blown away by how gorgeous I look in it it's so shiny and pretty and aaaa X3 <3

The cardigan and coat are very nice and cute too and I look forward to wearing them in cooler weather! <3

I spent a long weekend in the London area with my GF and got these from a local Waterstones around there. The Spy x Family guide looked really interesting to me being a big Spy x Family fan and I know there is another I plan to pick up as well.

Crash Twinsanity (PS2), Sonic Unleashed (Wii) and Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity (Wii)



Some more re-buys towards the Sonic collection. I do also own the PS3 version of Unleashed but the PS3 / X360 versions differ from the Wii / PS2 versions which is why I own both versions plus though the HD versions are the better versions to play and my preferred version as well I did originally play the Wii version first so I have a lot of good memories with this one.

As I've been re-buying all the Sonic games I owned when I was younger I also decided to re-buy my favourite Crash Bandicoot game, this is such a joy to play every time and is a really underrated title IMO.

Basically cake. Only one sarnie (for £2.80!). Inside there is only one more strawberry. The strawberries are absolute top tier and are carrying this ‘sando’. They are very tart so balance the sweet cream and the bread is sweeter than brioche.
