I saw it.
Incidentally the info sheet wrap around is cardboard and stuck down with glue dots (4 in my case) so be careful removing it.

Do we know if Clannad uses the same Sentai disks?Incidentally the info sheet wrap around is cardboard and stuck down with glue dots (4 in my case) so be careful removing it.
No worries. I was going to work my way into anyway. I'm getting quite capable with just my left hand now.Aww you rock dude, I'm stupid I forgot the arm thing, I'm sorry.
Thank you!
I was wondering about the case, but it's amaray, of course I shouldn't have expected any different from Manga, lol. Looks good, overall! Excited to get mine
I wouldn't know how to check that tbh. Is there an obvious thing to check?Do we know if Clannad uses the same Sentai disks?
It's a mix between Madman authoring and the old 2011 & 2012 Sentai encodes. The big spot is due to the font size which in the older Sentai sets were known for being quite large (and you can also notice this in the Funimation streams last year). The 2017 & 2020 Sentai encodes reduced the size and other things.Do we know if Clannad uses the same Sentai disks?
Unfortunately it's common with Funimation sets that the glue is stronger than necessaryThe glue seemed stronger that it needed to be, most of them peel off fairly easily.
Got mine today as well, happy days, and yes that glue is punishing and made me feel bad for ruining the wraparound in the process. I would've much preferred the art covers swapped front to back (less scary eyes and prettier fantasy background) similar to my Sentai SE:Clannad CE
Man those glue dots were fairly insidious
Going by the Funimation streams (which evidently came true for CLANNAD), the K-On! discs Manga currently have (atm) are the old Bandai Entertainment masters for Season 1 (which were released in four parts, hence 4 Blu-ray discs) and the old Sentai Filmworks collection disc masters for Season 2 (which received two parts, hence 4 Blu-ray discs also) as well as the old Sentai release for K-On! the Movie (the same one Manga released on Blu-ray years ago).
Sentai are known in recent years for basically improving their releases for every re-release. The Ultimate Collection release, which is 7 discs in total, improves on most of the issues (I believe there's an audio issue in Season 2 that wasn't fixed in the re-author but everything else was improved for the better). Also remember those K-On! shorts that were initially exclusive to the Japanese Blu-ray box? That's included in the Ultimate Collection release.
