Another batch today. This time we have a very early arrival and a series that was supposed to come out back in October.
First up, ARIFURETA: From Commonplace to World's Strongest Season 1 limited edition Blu-ray & DVD from Manga Entertainment. This set was delayed for a while (the standards were done and got released back as early as early November) and I ironically like the anime despite it's ridiculous amount of flaws. I bloody hope Asread and White Fox fix their ******** with the second season. My copy is also missing a Shea vinyl sticker, that bunny girl can't catch a break. You can view more photos and specs on my blog.
Next is Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory collector's edition Blu-ray from Anime Limited. Sure, the distributor took their sweet time with this series but it was worth the wait because it has a rather nice hardcover book (180 pages, that's 100 more than the Funimation set) and also comes with the audio dramas on Blu-ray with each chapter including a nice still image accompanied by English subtitles (Funimation only had the What If dramas from the JP BD volumes... on a raw CD with a English translation booklet). This set is definitely one of the best releases Anime Limited has put out. You can view more photos and specs on my blog.
