Nice haul of items there, still mighty jealous of the AoT limited edition.

Where was kind enough to provide the Fate/Zero part 2 so early?

Thanks pal. As Grav said, I got it early from Anime-on-line.

Also Funimation didn't do a fantastic job with the Limited Edition digibook (I like it but overtime it's not going to last long, also the lack of an artbox to keep it safe) but it's a nice experiment on their part.

I really love the Digibook myself. It's great to see that packaging for Anime. Shame a lot of other people online aren't so keen.

It's a pain with Zavvi isn't it mate? Worrying that they are using the new packaging.

Hope they switch back to the boxes they was using, much better than what Vendetta came in. Problem with Zavvi is the returns when you want a replacement. The actual return part is easy, especially when you have a collect+ drop off near, but it's the faffing about before. They always want to see a photo of the damage, then first they offer a partial refund, see if you will accept it. Unless it's an exclusive steelbook I go with Amazon. Returns are so much easier with Amazon. None of the faffing about like with Zavvi. Play was the same as Amazon as well.

Me too! I'm collecting those Disney ones and I could do with as little fuss as possible. They really need to sort out their returns.

Love the Guts plushie!

Daily Lives also came with the Disc 1 replacement disc which fixes a single frame issue on Episode 8 when it came out, NIS actually got it sorted instantly.

Ground Control to Psychoelectric Girl was the title that I mentioned is going out of print, however Rightstuf have added some more stock (at least 48 left) and United Publications also have some instantly available (UK | USA).

For my Birthday I wanted to get some special Limited/Premium set rather than going for the standard versions available all around (as you all know I'm going after the Limited Edition sets first) and I never really bothered with NIS sets. So this marks a milestone in my collection because this is the first time I owned a NIS America release (not including their games counterpart Hyperdimension Neptunia on PS3) and I wasn't sure how big the sets would be. They arrived in a ridiculously big box but they're about the same size as 2 DVD cases put together between the side with a chipboard artbox which surprises me. Not to mention when they're standing up it actually fits on the shelf, I guess that means I can fit at least 10 more NIS Premium sets if I wanted to.

If you want more screenshots of the sets (inside cases, artbook, spines) just ask and I shall receive.

The next NIS title is Toradora! which may arrive either on it's release date (July 1st) or at the end of the month (July 29th). This is because I pre-ordered rather late than usual and the first batch sold out (they're doing a second batch but it's gone after that). If it indeed arrives later in the month I won't be able to watch it until I get back from Center Parcs (so excited).

Meanwhile Baka & Test: OVA Collection and Level E are being processed by UP1USA (Level E took it's time though but that's an old Funimation LE) and Another Omnibus is coming soon, don't know when it'll arrive from Book Depository.

You know, I've actually owned Denpa Onna for absolutely ages and I've gotten halfway through it twice.
It's literally one of those shows which I just cannot finish. I really enjoyed Daily Lives though.

Should probably have watched different halves each time, tbh.
I got part way through it once far before the BD came out though, and I couldn't really remember it.
I have this issue with certain series though to be honest. I remember I actually ended up watching the 6 or so episodes of Gurren Lagann a few times before I finally got stuck into it and watched it all back to back the first time.

Are all the language tracks really only Mono for the release Sin?

I remember from your latest Anime Collection that you owned both Denpa Onna and Daily Lives. Did you ever get any more NIS titles? I'm just curious.

So far I watched the first two episodes of Daily Lives (I recall some of these scenes from YouTube which was how I found out about this show, like Nichijou) and I'm loving it. And the first episode of Denpa Onna, strange to see Shaft animation and Haganai style art together.

Baka & Test: Summon the Beasts - OVA Collection Blu-ray/DVD

Now I don't have to worry about the Baka & Test series anymore as I now have all of the existing Blu-ray versions (Season 1, Season 2 Limited Edition and now OVA Collection).

Level-E - Complete Series: Limited Edition Blu-ray/DVD
Region: A | 1 [Tested & Confirmed as REGION LOCKED]

Level-E took it's time but as one of the oldest surviving Limited Edition sets from Funimation it's no surprise. And yes, NO ONE BOUGHT THIS SET so expect this to end up in the S.A.V.E. line (for a LE set it was cheaper than the others). I really enjoyed the first three episodes so I'm looking forward to watching the rest, and with Vic Mignogna handling the main character for the dub I wonder if he can pull it off.

Oh MVM. Just because you take on a lot of Sentai's titles didn't mean you had to pick up their bad habits.
How did nobody notice the TBC text was on the final product?
