Yeah, the size of the box seems a bit of an overkill.
Yeah I opened it up and it took me a short while to even notice the poster (then again with my eyesight I'm not surprised.)

Edit: I'm pretty sure I seen colossal editions on amazon before, don't know how far those have gone up to though, could have saved some space with early volumes

Colossal Editions look nice but they're a bit big for my liking.

my order of 8 used anime sets and 1 new one arrived after being forwarded.
The new item was because it seems Amazon JP was clearing out last week (and some sitll now) anime sets where the amazon LE bonus has expired so the code is worthless. I was able to get the Overlord S1 V3 for 1350 yen + shipping.
