Received my copy of Anime Limited's Gurren Lagann collector's edition. Wow, this is such a great-looking set. (Y'all know what it looks like already, so no need for another picture.

It was really well-packaged, too: MVM shipped it inside the same kind of sturdy box that AL sent out the Patema Inverted Ultimate Edition in. Great job again.

Received most of my Amazon price glitch orders, just waiting on Buddy Complex (should arrive within a few days as it's cleared customs) and Gunslinger Girl (still hasn't dispatched ). unfortunately most of the slipcovers were banged up due to them being loose in the box with no protection . Disappointed that Black Butler didn't have a slip.

First lot from my Amazon Glitch order, some of the slipcovers are really banged up
The upside is that the entire order has been refunded so I guess I can't complain too much
I messaged them about the damage to the slipcovers and the damage to Brother's Conflict. The Blus were just stacked in a cardboard wraparound with nothing securing them, and the wraparound had some real bangs and dents. Discs aren't labeled with numbers, which is annoying.
Yeah, I noticed that too. The only way to tell what order they're in is by the catalogue number printed on each disc.

Have you ever seen the interview of Dustin Hoffman crying when talking about Tootsie? Because it made him feel sorry for all of the normal women that he brushed off because he only went for the beautiful ones. It's about the most cringe worthy thing I've ever seen. He's sad because he as so thickheaded that he didn't give the more normal ladies a chance to be with him. Hey Dustin maybe they weren't interested anyway? God I hate that prick!
I've never seen Tootsie but I have heard it's a very good film, just that interview really turned me the wrong way--alot.
I have not seen that interview, but the film is meant to be very good so that's why I picked it up. Unfortunately a lot of times with media you have to just overlook actors' real life personas and just enjoy their acting, the same with directors, unless both their acting/directing and their personalities are ****, in that case you can do as you see fit
