What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

So It's been a little while since I posted in this thread, and I had a few things through from DHL today, so I thought now was a good time to shove everything together in one photo.

I'm not even going to try and take a good picture of the EVA BDBox. As everyone else says - It's not exactly photo friendly.

Well first of all the Persona 4 thing is just pamphlet to promote Persona 4 anime collection that came with it Simoun but i included it because i like Persona and it actually is a nice displayable item (it's not as flimsy as you might think)

Some of you might wonder why the hell did i buy Resident Evil movie collection (all five movies)......well the thing is that the first two movies are actually guilty pleasures of mine and i did want to own them. The collection was less than 10 euros anyways.

Mad Max collection i pretty much bought for Beyond Thunderdome. It's the only one of them that i haven't seen. Lethal Weapon collection i bought for more cheesiness. Out of those movies i have only seen one and it was long while ago.

Out of the FF PS1 trilogy i'm now only missing the ninth. I actually haven't played any of the PS1 games and the eight is pretty infamous at this point but i might still want to give it a shot at some point.

8 is my favourite. I'm playing through 9 on my vita atm but keep picking it up and putting it down for months at a time (on disk 3) because I'm just not enjoying it much. I've never understood why 9 is held in such high regard.

All the PSone FF games fall apart at some point story wise but, for me, 8 didn't get bad till near the end of the fourth disk whereas the much lauded 7 was only good up till the end of the first disk in my opinion, after that it just became a Benny Hill chase around the world.
 
Well i have only played it on a vita for hour so i can't speak for myself but i think a lot of people like the cast (especially Vivi) and think the game as perfection of the classic Final Fantasy formula.

In addition to things on the photo posted earlier i also just picked up a Samsung blueray player from "post office". Up until this point i have used PS3 to watch bluerays and DVD's but i wanted to have separate player and there are thing's that PS3 couldn't do anyways.

It's a shame that the player i got probably have latest firmware installed because the player i got used to be really easy to make region free.

FF8 is favourite one as well, plus its the only one I've managed to complete. I've played the others but not completed as I put them down when other things took my interest. I completed 8 when I was at university and got addicted to it.
 
So no chipboard for Railgun S hey :) Sorry if the FUNimation spreadsheet set you on the wrong foot regarding this. Did you get the Zombie edition for a reasonable price ?

Not to worry. Mistakes happen.

Yea I got all the two zombies + BB S2 from the same US seller.

Zombies were about £13 each and BB S2 was ~£23. Shipping came to about a tenner a piece.

Edit: in fact I think these were from that seller I mentioned in the LE thread a while back.
 
Couple more through today. Unfortunately the Black Butler isn't the LE despite the fact I ordered from Amazon JP marketplace and definitely on the page with the correct UPC for the LE. Oh well it only cost me £12 inc shipping.

I just realized that because I'm a moron I put this in the wrong thread, sooo......

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 - No anime today but kinda anime related I guess. I don't actually like One Piece (to be fair I've not seen much, but wasn't keen on what I did see), but I love Warriors games so decided to give it a go and it's pretty fun.

Some more through today. Sacred Blacksmith wasn't the LE I was expecting although looking back at the order it looks as though it was myself that screwed up this time. Oh well.

Looking forward to experiencing Shana. Been a title on my list for a long time. I was sold on Vampire Hunter D by some of the cracking animation I saw on a thread over at neogaf, never watched it, can't wait.

Beyond Outrage is the sequel to the excellent Outrage and Kundo is the latest film from the director of the excellent Nameless Gangster.

I think the nostalgia factor is strong with Vampire Hunter D, although personally I prefer Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust, which came later.

I'm away from my house for a couple of days so can't double check but I know there were two thin packs + one cardboard spacer that contained a flag. So I'm guessing it's just part 1 and there aren't 2 disks per case.

However only paid £20 so pretty happy with that.
