Code Geass: Akito the Exiled Vol.3 - Another eBay buy (but not the same bargain that Vol.1 was at £10), bought for £25 which is still cheaper than it would have cost to import from CDJapan and it was brand new and sealed anyway, so pretty happy with this.....I should really hurry and get Vol.2 though, probably order it today.

Are these Code Geass Akito the Exiled JP sets worth getting? Is it just one episode in each set?

Code Geass is one of my favourite anime but haven't really heard much about this Akito the Exiled series apart from what's posted on here.

Yeah it's just one episode a set and they vary in length, Vol.1 is 51mins and Vol.3 is 59mins. You get a slip case and some art cards and a little booklet with them but I guess that's only really added value if you care for such things. It annoys me that everything doesn't fit inside the slipcase as it means you need to keep the plastic cover to keep everything together.

As for the quality of the show it self, which is the actual important part I guess, well....I couldn't tell you as I've not seen any of them lol I just bought Vol.1 as it was so cheap on eBay and I loved Code Geass, which meant I had to buy the rest too and because I like to binge watch shows I'm waiting til I have em all before I watch. I'm sure someone else will be able to be more useful and tell you more about the important part.

I'd love to know where you see these Japanese sets on eBay. When I look on eBay I just mostly see Malaysian bootlegs :p The best I can find is the occasional Australian blu ray.

Every now and again I just go on and search Anime in DVD/Blurays and then sort by Newly Listed and have a look at whats there lol there is a mountain of bootlegs to sift through though that's for sure. I actually wasn't 100% on this one as they didnt have a photo of the actual item so I sent them a message asking some questions about it to try and confirm it was real and not a bootleg and was happy enough with the guys answers as he knew what he was talking about so took the plunge.

So after some delay with Rightstuf, the door bell rang while I was on the crosstrainer (nearly fell over as a result) and the set arrived. No custom charge and due to a mishap no charge on shipping. So I got away with spending $77.99 and free shipping, well I guess that makes up for the insanity that has been occurring on the website.

Anywho here is No Game No Life's Collector's Edition. The chipboard box is rather smooth, similar to Bakemonogatari and Psycho Pass boxes. The set is now available on United Publications (£67 + P&P on USA site) if you want to pickup this version. The Collector's Edition set includes the entire 12 episode series, the entire Original Soundtrack (Sentai placed all of the songs across 3 CDs in contrast to the Japanese version which were twice as much), a deck of cards and some other stuff.

The Blu-ray is Geo-locked to United States and will work on any UK player with that country region set to it.

You can view the entire set via my Imgur album. Blog post.

The titles you mentioned are the only ones available but they do have Persona 4 the Animation [September] and Beyond the Boundary [October] coming up. I can expect the company to release Clannad at some point (which is also why I haven't yet bought After Story).

Huh, I must of missed that one. Although seeing it's NISA bringing it over is an immediate turn off. I was psyched when I learned they were bringing over the Persona Q LE then I saw the price and if they do anything similar this time around, they won't be getting my money. It might just be me but them charging £70 for the game, an artbook and a case is bloody ridiculous in my book.
