What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

I received my first anime shipment of 2025 today, the two Gundam Witch From Mercury Steelbooks from Crunchyroll:

Didn't get to see this until 2019 but I'm just finally glad to have this on DVD......oh hot take i kinda like this show better than The Real Ghostbusters. And I liked that show a lot (still do especially after rewatching it on YouTube)

I really liked Horimiya so I upgraded to the collectors edition, Lucky Star came up in a store I use for a pretty reasonable price so I finally picked it up. Hanasaku Iroha is the current MvM deal of the week and I upgraded from my DVD copy of Our Little Sister.

I have a pretty big haul of Blu-ray's coming soon as Amazon have a really great offer on some World Cinema titles I have wanted to pick up 🙂

A pretty big arrival today in the form of the CCS Toys Moral Mind Gunbuster. This thing is seriouly heavy so I'm pretty sure the entire interior frame is die-cast metal. The LEDs are gorgeous (present in the head, chest, shoulder pylons, and baseball bat) and it comes with a ton of accessories, most of which I haven't messed around with yet. Pics below are how I have it currently posed.

Also had this Ultraman Blazar blu-ray (Region A) arrive, which I won a bid for at a pretty nice price.

I recently upgraded a few anime blurays from the standard editions to the collectors editions so I traded on the standard ones at my local media store for these.

Metropolis 1927 is one of my favourite movies and I really like the anime remake, I already own the standard editions but these steelbooks were too good of a deal to pass up. I knew next to nothing about Emma a Victorian Romance but these collectors editions were only £4.50 each so it was well worth taking a chance on them. The Princess Jellyfish collectors edition is an upgrade from the standard edition and although the reviews of The Cruel King and the Great Hero are pretty average I was intrigued by the art style and it didn't cost me anything so I decided to give it a chance.

A couple of non-anime items today: I have been waiting a very long time for a good price on The Vampire Diaries: Complete Series (don't judge me, just take me back to when vampires and werewolves were the 'in' thing!), and it finally went down to a decent price on Amazon. I also picked up Tokyo Vice: Season 2 from Planet of Entertainment; a shame the show didn't get renewed for a third season.

And of course, another one for Bleach Part 3 from the alltheanime store.
