I have been ordering a few CDs this month because I need to stuff to listen to at work. From Amazon JP I got the Aimer Single Spark Again. Spark Again was the 3rd Opening Theme for Fire Force and this includes a few other songs by Aimer. From UK label JPU Records, a company specialising in releasing Japanese artists in the UK, there is Second to None by Lonesome_Blue and Seize the Fate by NEMOPHILA.
This week I got Motörhead's Another Perfect Day and a Best Of collection from HMV. And from Ebay I got self-titled albums WolfMother and The Oath which I have really enjoyed over the past few days. Particularly The Oath which is some type of rock band, I really am clueless about the genre, and I would like more music like this.

I've hardly bought any music over the last 20 years except for CDs of vinyl I already own.
However, one of my favourite rock bands are The Almighty from Glasgow.
They were around from 1988 to 95 but are touring again in November.
Anyhoo, if you like Motorhead then you could check them out.
Didnt want to spend £130 on a blind buy so decided to buy the Macross DVDs
The cases got completely destroyed in shipping but musicmagpie went way beyond what I was expecting (couple quid off to say sorry or something?) and just refunded me when they saw the pics
So now its disk only whats a shame but great service so I'm happy
This weeks goodies. Happy to say I have all of the 4k Discotek releases again. I also managed to get a copy of the Steelbook Angel Cop as it’s now OOP and is an upgraded version to the normal bluray release.
Decided to replace my Universal CE's of Arslan with AL's to save on space plus I prefer the artwork. You don't get nearly as many extras with AL's but the show and a nice artbox is more important to me.
I plan to do the same with Seraph of the End as well.
Some animated batman pick up "The batman" and "Batmand beyond/of the future Limited edition"
The Batman blu-ray (AUS, but pretty sure its all region free even if you were to find the US version)
Batman beyond Limted edition delux version
I do already own Batman beyond, so I think I'll sell on the normal complete series blu-ray version.
And kinda thinking I'll sell on the Funko pop as I just don't collect them (but the outer box kinda becomes a bit pointless or lots of empty space), but the delux limited edition version has a much nicer art box and is chip-board rather than the standard edition with is i would say is just card (looks to be foldered over so double thickeness at least).
Unfortuntaly both the UK version the doesn't have the film (batman beyond return of th joker) on blu-ray only DVD, compared to the US set, not sure why they did this, but they did.
Left is UK standard and right is from the delux limtied edition

My big Lupin haul arrived today (along with the Ani-May pin from the Crunchyroll Store) as well as Ponyo from ebay.
Seeing as a few of you on here have been getting some Ghibli stuff lately it made me want to pick some up as well (been a while since I last did anyway) and found the digipak release of Ponyo for a fantastic price, real hard to find this for a reasonable price these days.
Lupin the Third: Episode 0 - First Contact, Swallowtail Tattoo, Prison of the Past, The Mystery of Mamo, Farewell to Nostradamus, Dead or Alive and Lupin the Third vs. Detective Conan - TV Special + Movie (BD)

Work has eaten up a lot of my time this past few weeks on top of having to deal with a cold. I've not got time off the whole of next week from work, though my WhatsApp is occupied by work messages so I'll have to try and avoid looking at that.
On the positive side of things, there's some goodies arriving next week including my Birthday haul which I still need to finalise (going for a 'less is more' approach).
The Nintendo Switch collecting haul continues. A few years ago I called my PlayStation 3 haul collecting 'Operation PS3 Haul' and the Switch is pretty much in the same approach. Going after a lot of titles that I want to own before it is too late. The next Switch successor will be released sometime next year and I want to secure as much as I can. Not going for a massive collection like a lot of people have done but enough that fits with what I feel is a solid line-up.
Starting off with the three Nintendo Switch games I bought from The Game Collection, which was helped by their 10% discount code for filling in their survey in late May. This is a mixture of new and old for the Nintendo first-party line-up plus a very recent release by Red Art Games.
First we have Advance Wars 1+2: Re Boot Camp, a remake of the 2001 & 2003 Game Boy Advance games Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising. The remake was developed by US studio WayForward, known for their Shantae games and the remaster of Clock Tower. I surprisingly never played these games but they had been on my radar for years.
Next we have the cheaper first-party title with Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker by Nintendo. This I believe originated from a mini-game included in Super Mario 3D World and expanded to become its own standalone project on the Wii U, which was then re-released on Switch.
Keeping the bullet hell shoot em up collecting rolling we have Castle of Shikigami 2 remastered by developer Cosmo Machia, the people behind the re-releases of FANTAVISION 202X and TriggerHeart EXELICA. Red Art Games brought the game over to physical format like they're doing with the other titles Cosmo Machia worked on. Originally released in the Japanese arcades and brought over to Gamecube and PlayStation 2, the game is infamous for its English dub being terrible. The first game was also advertised as Mobile Light Force 2 in Europe.
Next we have three games that have originated from eBay coincidentally. Cruis'n Blast is the latest in the Cruis'n racing franchise which has received favorably with its latest release. The game originated from the arcades and brought over exclusively to the Nintendo Switch and it runs surprisingly well. Its one of those classic retro arcade racers that I want to have for the collection. Also this game is such an oddity because the EU copies are pretty much hard to get because you're likely to end up with a 'Code in a Box' version, so I went for the US version which is readily available.
Fire Emblem Warriors was released many years ago and originated on the New Nintendo 3DS but its a musou game so I want to own it sooner than later. I haven't played many of the games in the franchise outside of Awakening but it's neat to see the other characters here. I do intend to get the second game that's focused on Three Houses.
And then we have Grandia HD Collection, a remastered collection of Grandia from 1997 (using the PlayStation version released in 1999) and Grandia II from 2000. It's a collection of classic JRPGs that many people grew up and loved. I have the first Grandia digitally on PS3 (which carried over onto PS4 & PS5 as a free download) but that's using the original translation, while the HD Remaster is updated. And as you can tell, this is the Limited Run Games physical version which has all the patches on the cart. This was a random chance of the game being pricey but affordable, though I should have checked a bit more because there was a listing that was £15 cheaper after I paid for it. Either way it's about £20 more than the Asian English version from what I can see.
Next we have two packages from 88 Films! The first package consists of items that were part of the May pre-order line-up but one of them was delayed into early June which also held back the two other releases in the order.
First up we have CJ7 (長江七號) by Stephen Chow released in 2007 and Fearless Hyena Part II (龍騰虎躍) by Chan Chuen released in 1983 on the Blu-ray format. The former's artwork is honestly terrifying due to the re-usage of the same faces. The latter is more Jackie Chan Hong Kong martial arts which does include a booklet.
Then we have two 4K Ultra HD releases with Fist of Legend (精武英雄) by Gordon Chan released in 1994 and To Kill With Intrigue (劍花煙雨江南) by Lo Wei released in 1977. The former stars Jet Li and is the first of many 4K Jet Li releases incoming this year, and the latter is another Jackie Chan film and the third of fourth films re-released with better presentation (just Dragon Fist left to go now).
