and everytime i seem to go out i come home to a red "sorry we missed you" card from Royal Mail. Have to go down to the post office depot again to collect my parcel. I'm not having much luck.

I'll have to re-arrange my shelf to fit everything, because I've started stacking my box sets on top of one another. :lol:
 
Aria, very very nice. Where did you order this ? ( feel some deja-vu as i guess i already asked this somewhere before but can't find it back :oops: ) Was it at UP1 ?

Ah and NIS'ses, yeah they tend to ruin your shelf space :D

I remember you asked in the Collection thread, because I have all four seasons of Aria in DVD liteboxes. I actually found all four artboxes on ebay for £60, which was an unbelievable bargain, since season one is OOP and goes for £60 on its own. You can find the other three seasons on UP1 for about £25. I'll probably sell the liteboxes, now.

The NIS boxes look great standing next to one another, but I'll have to readjust my shelves tjust so they can fit standing up. :lol:
 
January Collection Update #1 - Time of Eve: The Movie (Deluxe Edition)

I guess I am ready for the Time of Eve.

Just an update on my other packages:
- Cowboy Bebop (Amazon Exclusive Edition) won't arrive until Monday which is unfortunate as I will be moving back to Uni on the day before so don't expect me to take photos of the set until April.
- Giovanni's Island Ultimate Edition has been set to my Uni location so it won't be affected like Bebop (I will have to remind my flatmates to collect it for me as I won't be around to pick it up at the doorstep).
- I am aiming to get more Limited Edition sets and quite possibly another visual novel (yep, you guessed it it will be an eroge but a very popular one)

Received these two today: HAL LE & Time of Eve DE

I ordered HAL from AL's Christmas Sale but it never arrived so they sent out a replacement to me yesterday and arrived today :)

60 £ for all four is indeed a bargain and i'm greatly jealous :)

Received yesterday and today. Nothing special but A Letter to Momo was again waiting in patience, like it's almost always the case when ordering at B&N and they need to ship it to Europe.

Pom Poko is underway from Amazon and then my Ghibli blu-ray collection is complete, except for Princess Kaguya and the remaining ones which haven't received the UK Blu-ray treatment yet.

For the first time across the sets I ordered from Amazon US, this one is officially in perfect condition. How on earth did this happen I don't know but I'm glad the packaging is much better this time.

Anywho this is officially out of print, so don't expect any more to be made. How I got this you ask? Well somehow Amazon US kept adding limited quantities of the set back in stock temporarily twice (one before Christmas Day and another before New Years, I ordered from the New Year batch) as it sold out weeks before it's initial December release. I decided that waiting for the UK Ultimate Edition would be quite foolish given that this set looks pretty amazing, especially with 1080p quality and very nice booklets to go with it. This is region locked to A and 1 however but a B/2 option has already been available in the UK for quite some time.

If Andrew manages to get the movie on Blu-ray, with better audio, then I will get that film from the UK.

Darn. I ended up not buying it since I didn't trust Amazon's packaging (the envelope containing Edge of Tomorrow arrived half ripped last month!) glad it arrived safe for you!

Cheers I was pretty damn worried about it and the packaging was the sole reason on why I turned it down in the first place (especially when the pre-order was up the price was half of what it was). After hearing about the 1080p quality and looking at some unboxing videos I decided to get it when possible.
 
Recieved these today. It's a friday night and I can't be bothered to try and take a better photo.
The Gurren discs aren't actually reprints of the japanese discs. They've got the Engdub as the main audio, and a separate English credits bit on disc too so they must have had to create a new master.
Why they didn't feel the need to add a signs track in the process is beyond me. Songs are also untranslated which makes me wonder whether there's something going on with accessing the English translations.

Today i got Terra Formars blu ray vol 1 (first release). I got it from cdjapan and because i got the first release i got an art box to hold the rest of the volumes and a poster.
