Much like the other sets, Vol 5 contains a booklet containing character art, booklets of the recording script, a mini shikishi of the featured character (that being Itsuki here) and episodes 11-12 of the show.

And that's all of them. Glad to have them all, will intend to pick up at least a standard of any potential Funimation release (mostly for the dub but maybe, depending on the extras, an LE) and then it will be whatever happens with the finale film left. Please don't be 5 different versions with different art.
I'd be interested to know if season 2 has enormous subtitles like the original US release.
We knew it was the original discs by the lack of shorts but yeah I refuse to buy an inferior product and will get the US newer SE at some pointI've only ever watched in English so never really paid attention to it but I guess they are fairly big

I prefer yellow subs too, they have a higher contrast than white.I have vision problems... yellow subs are sooo much easier to read than white ones but everyone hates on yellow subs
I prefer white subs, but I don't really mind too much (yellow just looks a bit weird to me for some reason) - I think those K-On ones look a nice size though
Thanks. I can live with that. On balance, I think I'd rather support the local release, even if it's not quite as exhaustive as the US ultimate edition.I've only ever watched in English so never really paid attention to it but I guess they are fairly big

Couldn't resist an excuse to unpack and admire that glorious art on the inside of the digipak! Thank goodness the glue dots aren't brutal like the Clannad set's.Would love to see more pics (not just front and back) of the K-On set if someone doesn't mind posting them! Thanks!
