I am sure you have got a hole in your tank. Although my diesel costs seem to have gone up more recently than can be accounted for in just the couple of pence a litre rise.

Oh no work pay for my fuel, I get allowence for diesel that more than covers the amount I spend every month :D (right now people are thinking Jammy Git)

Friday is becoming groundhog day for me (look up a few posts) full English breaskfast and £26.00 of diesel. Also today Sushi, coffee and margarine.
