What did you BUY today?

Also just grabbed Game of Thrones on that deal (Thanks IL), been waiting a while for the price to drop on it. I bought Rurouni Kenshin 3 steelbook for £10 too, I had this ordered ages ago but canceled when I realized how quickly the price dropped on the last 2, so decided to hang off on it....waited ages for a price drop on this one compared to how fast the first two took.

Question, did both of your Game of Thrones orders go through okay? I got a dispatched email yesterday, everything was fine, supposed to arrive on Wednesday via Amazon Logistics, just got back from work to a email saying I have been refunded and my return has been processed :? I haven't bloody received it to have returned it.
 
Mine still looks fine. I went for the cheapest shipping option so mine isn't due until Friday but it's still supposedly on its way.

What I imagine has happened there is they overestimated their stock and sold more than their allocation or something. Best thing you can do is email them. I had a mix up with my Tokyo Ghoul and they sorted it out right away, their support is generally good.
 
Huh, how very odd. Just seems strange as they said it had been dispatched on Monday, dunno why they would email me to tell me that if they hadn't even allocated me stock. I'm more annoyed about the Kenshin movie as that's back up to £19.99 now lol I'll shoot them a email once I get out the shower anyway.
 
I picked up the 20th anniversary Darkrai plushie the other day from Game. It's so cute <3 I was given a few of the 20th anniversary promo cards for free when I bought it.
 
I gave into the hype and bought Overwatch for PC!
After playing the Doom demo and now Overwatch I've come to the conclusion that 2gb VRAM is not enough to achieve a locked 60fps for modern games above medium settings :/
I shall be looking into upgrading my GTX770.

Really? I'd have thought a GTX770 with 2GB would be plenty for Overwatch at high, in fact I'm quite surprised you can't get Ultra (I wrote Epic, I meant Ultra though) @ 60 with that card. :/

Doom isn't a surprise however. I've not long upgraded but already considering a 1070.

That said I do agree that only having 2GB vram is becoming an issue that's only going to rapidly get worse.

This all reminded me that the Steam sale starts tomorrow o_O I hope I don't end up buying a lot.

Your CPU may also be a factor here if other people are reporting 60fps on the same card

Yeah, I found the culprit. Despite having V-Sync disabled, the display based option was set to "display based" which forever reason was causing problems for me. Doom did the same thing too. Changing it too off fixed things.
I've got it set to Ultra at the moment and it's consistently 80fps+

I had a nice trip to Brighton today. I managed to get a Torchic plushie <3 I also got a Mystery Mini Funko Pop box, and I got Natsu from Fairy Tail :3

When I got home I had Ocarina of Time 3DS waiting for me.
 
Ordered Sword Art Online Lost Song from Gamestop UK, because they seem to be the only retailer providing the PS4 UK version. In case you weren't aware, the PS4 version is pretty much out of print. The game was released back in November 2015 and yet the stock is gone. I'm surprised. The Vita version is still around but this is not Bandai Namco's usual self. The other titles are still in print and heck even the US version is in stock - problem with the US version is that Amazon US won't even allow shipping to the UK on either version, whereas the other titles like Digimon can.

So yeah I paid £32 which is fine for a PS4 title and I don't mind SAO, but this is just daft to provide limited print runs at this day and age for a home console - Vita I can understand. Now I'm afraid SAO Hollow Realization will go OOP.
 
managed to fix my lights today

it's both simpler (like literally just stick in the bulb and plug in the starter and you're done) and harder (those stupid cover panel things where you have to lift them a certain way to take them off and put back in) than i thought
 
Good news, Gamestop dispatched my copy of Sword Art Online Lost Song, so I don't have to worry about that phew.

Meanwhile Sony is doing a Big in Japan Sale for the EU/UK store and I picked up Sword Art Online Re:Hollow Fragment for £6.19. This is the remaster/port of the Vita version (with fixed translation) and the first in the Sword Art Online 'Alternate Universe' storyline that continues with Lost Song and Hollow Realization. Only knowledge you need is the Aincrad arc of the anime/light novel.
 
I bought Haikyu!! Volume 1 and I was given Maid Sama 2-in-1 volume 7 & 8 and The ancient Magus Bride Volumes 2 & 3 by a friend :D
