Introduced to me by my mother at Christmas. Slightly depressing that she has her finger on the pulse more than I do, but 2009 passed me by musically so at least it's good to know it wasn't all ****.
 
Yeah, La Roux is really good, I even bought the album... wish I hadn't now I saw it for 2 for £10 in HMV the other day.

Merriweather Post Pavilion has some great songs like 'My Girls' and 'Brothersport' but the album is boring and I don't know why it gets so praised.

Heard this when listening to a Blood+ AMV and I recently read World War Z which had a reference to it so I went searching for the original. Good song, good video.
