Also ugly as hell, the UK release just doesn't seem to look as good as either the US or the Aus one.

Hast the USA Part 2 been shown yet?

According to Madman, the Part 2 US release should be around Sept/Oct time, makes sense since Manga needs a few months to make their 'PAL'.

The only reason I asked is because the other poster is saying the UK release doesnt look as good as the USA/AUS releases, but their cover for volume 2 hasnt been shown yet. The first cover is fine , it's more or less identical to the USA/AUS covers (apart from the blue banner on teh artbox, which I hope is a slip)

The fact it says 14-26 confuses me. There's only 25 episodes of the main series. Unless they're including the recap episode.

Perhaps they're including one of the OVAs?

Good lord, out of all the AOT artwork they could get their hands on they go and use that?

It's ether a) A bad decision on Manga's part or b) A bad decision being made for Manga on Japan's part.

I go with 'yes', incidently.

Sorry was referring to the part 1 artwork, yes it's the same but we get a blue bar and Aus doesn't. Small difference but enough to put the UK version at the bottom.

as a comparison the UK box may have the blue banner but thats all, it doesn't have the big dirty 'MA 15+ RESTRICTED' sign of the AU, or the 'From The Director of...' of the US, or the Limited Edition & Collection 1 signs both the US & AU have. UK isn't that bad... IF ITS RIGID!

In fairness though, the US is getting a Limited Edition Part 2 since the LE/CE Part 1 artbox is a digibook that holds the booklet and Part 1 discs.

Any idea what the US part 2 LE comes with yet?

Also are Manga even using the same Blu-rays as Funimation this time round, seen as the extras come on a DVD. Even Madmans doesn't come with a bonus extras DVD. Unless of course some of those extras don't even come on Funimations Blu-rays.

Blue banner for AoT needs to be removable. As it will not be a 3 disc set as when you slot the second half of the series in it won't be.
No idea why it's needed on an artbox. Plus, it gives the impression it's 3 Blu-Ray discs in the set, that's false advertising.

Haven't got an exact idea when it will be but Madman has hinted a possible release month of September/October.

Regarding the discs. On Shop Funimation, they're using 2 Blu-rays and 2 DVDs so it looks like Manga might be authoring the discs themselves (in a similar matter to Guilty Crown).

Wait.. Did Funimation just redo the Region specs for AoT? It's now A/1. :x

What did they do with Guilty Crown then? I ask, as normally when I read about a Manga authored disc, there is some issue with it. Be it minor or major.

Strange if they have.

Guilty Crown was basically a replica of the Funimation release without the Funimation logo and trailers (didn't have the Madman logo either). UK Anime Network has examples of this.

Ah, one of those discs. When you said they authored their self, I thought it was one they done from scratch.

As Funimation have change Attack on Titan to A/1 I'll hold off on pre-ordering that. Wait and see what happens.

Probably authored by FUNimation then. They've done that before.

Great pictures! Where do you get the replacement Clear Blu ray cases? the only places I've found them are Amazon.com (who won't ship them to the UK) and ebay from a Canadian seller...

Cheers Jon! Sadly, I can't find them at all anymore. There was a UK eBay seller that had batches and I got them there. ;(

That does look really nice, same art as the 2 US box sets but I think I prefer the shiny box as opposed to the slightly dull fabric effect the US sets have. The spines also very nice but I agree clear boxes would of been superior compared to blue.

Great to just have F/Z, I'll take glossy or the fabric haha!

Note: We Without Wings is an 18 rated ecchi show, then again I can't wait to see what Manga UK think of Aesthetica.

Overall cover is probably going to look like this, because the covers are so bleh:

A Blu-ray version seems possible if they do decide to take the risk.

From what I remember of WWW there's quite a bit a f bombs in the dub but not that much nudity (compared to say High School DxD), the only reason its got an 18 is that one scene with the forced poison removal I'd guess :p I'm still a little surprised Fate / Zero only got a 15 with so much child murder. Disc 2 of part 1 is only a 12!
