I can guess MVM and Madman are using Funimation discs (since they're set to 1, 2 & 4 and the back cover states NTSC) but we'll have to find out next month in one of these UKA videos.

MVM never cease to amaze me with their cover art...
It's like a horrible mish-mash of Funimation's cover, Madman's horrible disc count and MVM's logo/styling as well as the mandatory BBFC logo. It's just a complete mess.
Part of the girl on the back has been moved, and the word "collection" added onto the cover/spine isn't even styled consistently and sticks out like a sore thumb.

This is a really good cover, better than the Australian release and as good as the Funimation release. Added Funi & Madman for comparison.

Cat Returns: poor Haru. Not only has her body been cropped due to the smaller Blu-ray dimensions, she's being assailed by a gang of marauding logos as she lays peacefully in the grass. The DVD Ghibli covers look so much less cluttered.

I actually quite like that artwork, although It would have been nice if they'd used a different cover for part 1 so the art style matched. I really didn't like the cover - ditto for Funi's box - the artbox for this is one of my least favourite because of it.

Unfortunately the nice art and EGOIST opening for this part isn't enough to save the trainwreck tier second half of Guilty Crown.

I do intend to rewatch the second half of Guilty Crown, with some alcohol this time. It was hilarious enough as it was airing, but it'll be even better when I'm inebriated.

Can't wait to revisit classic lines like "MY ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRM!!!!! MY KINGS POWWWWWWWWWWER!!!!!". Really was Yuuki Kaji at his worst.

Yeah, the show was absolutely hilarious when it was airing. The hilarious reactions and images on /a/ each week made the show worth watching, especially all the WW2 Photoshopped pics. I've had the complete series sitting on my shelf to be rewatched since it came out in America. Maybe one of these days I'll hit a low and decide to watch the second half of the series with the English Dub for a good laugh... I swear I bought the series just for the artbooks...

Speaking of Yuki Kaji, I actually like his voice what I've heard of him in Guilty Crown, Accel World and Attack on Titan...

Fate Zero Collection 1 (out next month) would be a good place to start :p

If you mean in terms of the Fate franchise, then the above would also apply. I believe Fate Zero is a prequel to the events of Fate/stay night.

That cover is kind of a mess in my opinion, but it doesn't matter since it'll tucked away in the art box, where it can taint no sight.

Had a quick look on Amazon and found a Fate Stay Night Collection that came out in 2010. Did you mean that one?

No, he means start with Fate/Zero. Both parts 1 + 2 come out on BD next month. Fate/Zero is a prequel to Stay/Night.
Also, don't bother with the 2006 Fate/Stay Night. It's ****. Ufotable's adaptation will start airing in Q4 this year, so wait for that one instead.

A cover designed by MVM which is a completely messy and ugly? Is anyone surprised?
MVM's cover art design is like their website design. Stuck in the late 90s.

However, Fate/Zero is a prequel that came out AFTER Fate/Stay Night so you are actually supposed to have seen/played that story first.

True appreciation of all the nods in Zero requires you to have played the visual novel, the Studio Deen version went for too much and didn't end up covering what it really needed to.

With any luck the Ufotable adaption will be the perfect compliment to Zero., I understand it's an original route, hopefully that will allow them to get around the limitations of the VN basically being told from Shiro's 1st person. Zero massively benefitted from not being hamstrung by the need to tell the story from a sole characters perspective.

And that cover is a mess, the top half is obviously 1 piece of art and the bottom another overlayed.

The top looks good, have Saber overlaying Iri is fine, but the other servants at the bottom look damn odd, Gilg sticks out like a sore thumb and Rider is too dark to be made out properly
