Just to single out the most interesting part.

And here I hoped that they would have sense and get rid of that ****** banner, but no.
If anyone from Manga see this and you want me to potentially buy any of your future releases, the banner has to go. It goes or I go. :3
Anyway, a predictable change since it's exactly the same as Madman's BUT WITH THE BANNER. It looks kinda nice, but the JP/AniplexUSA covers are still much better. I dread to think what the rest of the covers will be though.

It would be pretty cool if they included the Japanese Volume 1 cover or Aniplex Volume 1 cover as an alternative cover to replace the front (and the banner).

You know this:

Here's the DVD cover, for the DVD fanatics who find Blu-ray pointless:

problem is, it tends to be standard practice over here, all the big releases have the same type of blue banner. Like the new Star Trek film.

Yup it's definitely standard practice, and with good reason if this article is still accurate. I'm fine when it's done with that single strip banner as it is now, I don't think it's particularly intrusive though i prefer it when it's done like on Skyfall's cover. It's not much different from the banners that proclaimed "TWO DISC SPECIAL EDITION" back in DVDs heyday. While covers that just have the art and title look the best, I'm fine with these (as long as it's not the corner triangle of doom :p).

Or maybe have a slipcase cover that shows the banner but when you take off the cover and just have the blu-ray box it's just the artwork (which is precisely what Funimation does).

I swear I saw another post here complaining about something..

Slipcases work for me too, plus you might get the added target market of people who will decide whether to buy a Blu-ray just because it has a slipcase! They do exist...

Ahhh good, it wasn't just me who saw it then

I was wondering if I'd imagined that. It was a complaint about all the complaining and I was looking forward to a good argument!

Linebarrels cover can't be final, it has 2 disc counts on the front...

I'm glad they've gone with the same artwork as used by Sentai for Heaven's Memo Pad.

C For Control looks really interesting, I like the art work .. might have to look into that show.

I think I preferred the Funi cover but this ones not bad

As for the show, interesting concept but I get the distinct impression they expected it to go for 2x13/26 eps and it didn't work out that way. There's a few plot threads that never got explored when you just know they were meant to be significant. It was enjoyable enough so still worth looking into.

I'm surprised that you failed to mention that once a major fights start out the studio decided to timeskip forward for whatever reason.
It was OK for a one time watch, nothing more. It does sort of fall apart in the last episode.

I do fail to see why MVM added "For" into the title. Should have just gone with Funi's title "C: Control".

I'm not going to comment on the covers since I think I've made my opinion of MVM's covers clear...
