Just a heads up for those who don't know, the Steins;Gate Part 2 cover will have a reversible cover featuring Kurisu, Mayuri and Feris 'Nyan' in maid costumes.

Just aswell they did that, was flicking through a copy of Neo in WHSmiths and the Steins gate advert had that cover. It looks real nice, so I can expect ppl would be pissed if when they got a copy that cover wasn't available

ADV UK version of the cover
That's the cover for the compilation. Place Promised itself looked like this:

(that's not the final cover though, as it's missing the BBFC logo)

IIRC I had the single for Voices and replaced it with the double set. Think I had three copies of Voices at one point since I ordered the double set from ADV when they were closing down but they obviously didn't have it so sent me the singles and since I wanted the booklet I had to source another copy of the Collection...

Nice to know that they actually used the Japanese covers for vols 2 - 4, although they should have gone with the Japanese vol 7 cover for part 4 instead. Now all Manga needs to do it re-do the cover for Volume 1 so that it uses the JP volume 1 artwork AND GET RID OF THOSE FEKKING BANNERS

Manga UK are not going to get rid of the double play banners. Deal with it already

Part 4 is my favourite.

There was talk of them having reversible covers, which didn't have the double play banners on the other side.

It does look nice, and I just noticed Anime Limited seem to use Digi-pack JP style packaging rather than cases (so far for the CEs).

I really hope things work out for Anime Limited. I'm planning on buying every set they release as I think it's nice to see a company have a push like this. I remember when they said they want to be the Criterion of UK Anime, with their catalogue and packaging they definitely could be, and i'm sure fans in many other countries would be envious of the their releases so I hope they stay around for a long time to come.

Now for them to license Natsumes Book of Friends :)

I want them to become the Funimation of UK; where they release everything on Blu-ray if possible with the best packaging and when there's parts, there's an artbox. AL is considering an artbox due to high request demand for Bebop so there's hope.

I love the choice of Perfect Blue's cover art for both the slipcase and digipack. The art cards only sweeten the deal.

I'm still not thrilled at some of the design decisions, though. That spine, with its oversized company logo set inside a massive light blue (completely at odds with the packaging's colour scheme) circle, and also the white circle around the BBFC logo and more light blue at the bottom. The title ends up crammed into less than half the spine's length. FILM, which should be on the back and nowhere else. The credits on the front cover which, again, should be on the back.

Having derided Manga's original SAO mock-up cover art, I think it's only fair that I commend them for the excellent finalised (?) designs. They're showing other UK distros how cover art should be done at the moment.
