Oh well, can't say It matters too much to me considering that I won't be buying it because ONE DISC. A shame too, seeing as this was a title I would have jumped on instantly if it was given a proper release.

Considering the show's popularity I'm also going to pass on this release for the usual bilingual version, yeah sure the dub will be terrible but at least they'll spread out the disc size to 2 or 3.

I do remember reading that The Hentai Prince And the Stony Cat was natively animated at above 900p. Not sure where I read that though.

That reminds me, Sentai mysteriously switched to using 3 DvDs for a while for some releases, kinda weird they have now swung back the other way.

I think I'll hold out for the likely dub version too. Though it seems to me Sentai may be shooting themselves in the foot with this strategy, if no one buys the sub release because they expect a dub release later we may end up with no dub release. It worked back when they released low popularity titles as sub only DvD as it's easier to justify double dipping if your upgrading to BD with a dub but sub BD to dub BD is a harder sell.

While the Henneko cover rates highly on the hnnnng scale, it's not terribly representative of the show's content. I mean, there's fanservice (oh man is there fanservice), but there's definitely more to it than that.

Personally I'm more bothered by the one-disc and gigantic yellow subtitles.

As you can see on the cover, Kadokawa has once again forced Funimation to release another DVD only title. Not to worry, about half of the forced titles have been given Blu-ray releases (Heaven's Lost Property: Forte & Panty and Stocking given standard BD-only releases while Deadman Wonderland & Is This A Zombie? given Anime Classics BD/DVD combo pack releases with OVAs DVD only [if that's true for DW as well]).

Eureka Seven Part 1 and 2 standard pics are revealed. Region A only on both parts and 1080i for those who were curious (it's a Standard Definition Remaster). Subtitles are confirmed to be NOT locked as well (via Fandom Post).

The Deadman Wonderland OVA will be on the US Blu-ray version (note A/1 regions only) since the Classic Line spine displays 'Thirteen episodes across two discs'. The 13th being the OVA episode.

A thread from The Fandom Post has flagged up an error with the extras on this release. Seems like they messed up the clean openings up, by having one on their twice and not including the other.

Oh GOD DAMN IT FUNIMATION. SORT YOUR QC OUT ALREADY.

Since it's the only version they plan to bring I'm not fussed.

As I originally supplied that link I think it's a good idea I report back on the error now I've watched my copy.

Specifically there does only appear to be one opening animation. The same song is used as Episode one's ending, but is done with images on one side and credits on the other so a clean version would add nothing.

There are however 2 versions of the closing animation, only one of which is supplied as an extra. Someone definitely messed up somewhere in the chain of disc creation.

Important Note for folks who pre-ordered Funimation's version of Attack on Titan, they have updated their shopping section and changed the region specs to A|1. If you haven't got a Region Free player then I suggest you be cautious until someone has revealed the back cover and tested the discs. It might be a false alarm, the same goes for Fairy Tail: Part 11.

You know I think I prefer the Funimation version, might be the lighter tones of the pink back ground and the style of the title. Still undecided about the zooming in.
