I'm guessing this is the entire list of Sentai subtitle only Blu-ray titles with 1 Disc only titles: Fantasista Doll, HENNEKO, KINMOZA!, Leviathan, Maoyu, Motto To Love Ru, To Love Ru Darkness & Yuyushiki

The maximum number of episodes you could cram onto a single blu-ray disc with 1080p video is 12, so since 2 of those 3 sets have more then 12 they'd have to go back to the usual routine of having two discs or compromise quality by having them all on one disc (they might have had to put golden time on two discs for some reason or another if they haven't abandoned the single disc set up for certain sub only releases).

Just noticed Funimation have updated the cover art for Heaven's Lost Property Forte. For consistency reasons the Classic Line set is going to be DVD sized by the looks of it, whether it's one of those Blu-ray sized cases with DVD slipcover (like Black Lagoon) is to be determined. Also in case anyone actually noticed, Forte is stated to be Region 2 compatible while the Blu-ray is region locked (like the upcoming Hellsing Ultimate: Volumes IX & X set).

I see the double disc logo still continues to haunt Australia

Just been to the madman website to see what the specs on their Senran Kagura release are (on the basis the US doesn't have the OAVs, doubtful Aus has them as the box also says Funimation but worth a look), cannot find a single indication they have the title. Guess they don't put future releases into their schedule till they are locked in.

That Hellsing cover is pretty decent though - imagine that'll be a strong seller when it finally comes over here.

If Hanabee aren't re-releasing Bodacious Space Pirates as a 3-disc BD, but merely repackaging the first four disc releases in a box, then this Region A might actually be a Region A. First to see what MVM do next month, and then see what Hanabee do. And then see if this Sentai release really is 1080p or if it's 'labelling' again!

Hanabee already re-released Bodacious Space Pirates as a complete collection in March 2014. (with 4 discs)
Although that was just a flimsy slipcover holding the 2 parts... So a "one case" complete collection has yet to happen.

I believe the best way to go about this is asking MVM on Twitter and FaceBook for the new 1080p version.
If enough people ask it the chances rise they'll look into or get the 3-disc version. (I mean, I understood Sentai will be sending MVM the discs whatever version they end up getting)
I mean, what do we have to lose?! [Sitting duck and waiting for the almost inevitable inferior version to reach the UK shores is definitely not the way to go, in my opinion.]

Actually someone asked MVM about the recent release since it's solicitation and they said that they'll probably delay the release for this version (in other words don't expect the set to be out in September).

I made Tony aware of this at MCM Expo back in May, so they do 100% know about it now.
It'll be interesting to see what does come out of this though. Maybe Sentai are sharing costs with MVM, but then again, unless the US discs have BBFC logo's on them MVM would still need Sentai to do a separate print run like they did with Another.

WTK said "Clint Bickham is listed as the ADR director, so I guess no Bang Zoom!". Probably suggests a new cast like Fate/Kaleid was (instead of bringing back actors for the characters they were recast because Sentai LOL).

Also, WTK reports Bodacious Space Pirates 1080p is confirmed 100%

Rightstuf leaked the Blu-ray cover so it should be quite sooner that you'll think (Early 2015 maybe).

IIRC there were some issues with Sentai's original release? presumably being a 1080p version now will correct that?

There were some issues like missing English dub dialogue but it's rather unknown.

Ah yes I recall seeing a post about a cover/link to a BD version, I'll hold off on the DvD's for now.
