I want to know whether this version is going to be different to the others in terms of censorship.

Was the UK blu-ray censored?

It was exactly the same as the Japanese version, first half was uncensored while the rest were left intact. The US version is probably going to be the same, I'll expect some people complaining about the censorship quite soon.

Wait, if it was the same as the Japanese BD can we argue it was censored? after all for it to be censored an uncensored version must exist. Perhaps they just decided they'd not be quite so graphic as they were at the start?

That's a good point, though the studio who adapted this anime screwed it up completely by adapting the manga too early and ending up in filler which destroyed the chances of a second season in addition to the poor sales it received. I guess the studio pretty much gave up on the anime during the BD releases.

The US releases generally come out on a Tuesday so I'll guess you'll get your copy before Friday at least.

On the News thread, I said that ARISE could be an LE release based on the cover (on the previous page in this thread). Well...

Might as well be a Day 1 purchase for me (I want the dub in all honesty). It's SRP is $39.98 (~£23.33) so for an LE Film that's not too bad but it might sell out. Bayonetta movie isn't an LE but looks like a DVD sized cover for some reason.

With the Madoka films. Japanese 5.1 and 2.0, why the need for both. Ditch the 2.0 track and then there might(I say might as I don't know the full tech info of the disc) be room for the English to be a master audio track, rather than a standard DTS track.

Checked the reviews on Blu-ray.com and it states "Japanese track is also offered in DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0".

If I remember correctly, the Japanese BD had a 2.0 PCM track and a 5.1 DTS HD-MA track for the movie.
I think quite a lot of movies in Japan have both. I'm pretty sure all the JP movie imports I have do anyway (Madoka, Steins;Gate, Persona 3, Garden of Sinners).

DTS HD-MA Stereo is indeed the main track on the JP release, 5.1 being the secondary track. Isn't the stereo track the original audio and the 5.1 track just a remix?

Well this is interesting, these subtitle only releases have 2 discs instead of 1.

DVD versions are also updated for Golden Time and K-On! Season 1 (Blu-ray version coming soon in the near future).

I'm guessing this is the entire list of Sentai subtitle only Blu-ray titles with 1 Disc only titles: Fantasista Doll, HENNEKO, KINMOZA!, Leviathan, Maoyu, Motto To Love Ru, To Love Ru Darkness & Yuyushiki
