I also have a complete Robotech set but the sheer number of hours there is intimidating.

In my defense a good 1/3 of that was bought in a sale a few weeks ago and only arrived last week while most of the others came off eBay. I watch a volume a day so I make progress albeit slow.

@ayase I think I might have this but Im not a slave to it I have my limits for e.g. I don't buy romance series, not a very good reason lol

I do feel like competitive when it comes to buying loads of anime, but I do love watching anime so I guess it's my love for anime and a lil of the buying disorder to where its got me now with all the DVDs iv got.

But I don't leave thing in a clutter and leave a mess I clean out my room to get ride of mess and hover it out

Lol, I do know the feeling. Sometimes you just see something at a really great price and your brain goes "That might not be that price next week, you'd better buy it..." =P

There's that and also for me from anime/manga experiences the general feeling as well of: "If I forget about this for a while it might go out of stock"

Also a lot of filler for birthday/Christmas presents as I find just getting money boring- I want presents dammit :lol:
 
Before something goes out of stock they see their price down a few times unless its a limited edition or something so that aint an excuse to buy once it comes out.

Plus there are a lot of online retailers so OOP everywhere takes a while.

Definitely me. My unwatched pile is so frightening I've been pretending to ignore this thread until now.

...and my unread books over on my LibraryThing broke 400 a long time ago. But then they really furnish the home too...



Oh and some things definitely do go out of stock pretty quick. I'm still upset at about Toradora 1, Wagnaria and Oreimo all selling out when I had no cash to buy anime. Now the Baccano set has sold I'm kicking myself too, even though I didn't really think I wanted it...

What the. Hell is wrong with us we have all these series and were slow on watching them ..................... We need to watch as many as we can bEfore buying more series other wise we.ll be watching the series we just brought and not get around to watching the stuff we brought
 
I only watch newest show straight away if there are scratches/marks on the discs (Gasaraki for instance) or if the are other volumes/series for the show and I want to watch some before committing to the rest (Puella Magi Madoka Magica). Beyond that I watch whatever I am in the mood for at the time regardless of when I got it.
