quick question what is the policy for returns or partial refund am very annoyed that i bought it 10 days ago and its gone down in price again when I paid £170 with the discount code?

I'm not sure they have a specific policy. You can return it for a refund under no longer wanting it, but you'll probably have to pay postage costs to return it as there is no damage or fault to the product.

As for getting a partial refund because the price was reduced later after you purchased it, you'll have a hard time getting anything out of Anime Limited in my opinion. You can ask, but I don't think the answer would be positive.

You only really get larger retailers like Amazon or John Lewis, for example, who offer special promotions like that: where if the price of your purchase reduces over next few weeks or months, they'll refund you the difference. But, Anime Limited have no such policy as far as I am aware.

Yeah, seems that way. Dumb. Means 3 separate orders, although SHIROBAKO is still available on the last chance section, so could have done 2. Didn't know there was going to be anything I particularly wanted in the flash sales though.

WUT?! That many were left?! I rushed to get one at the original release so I'm good, but being a mega fan even I'm tempted to get one as a failsafe (definitely not to scalp that $h*te), but I won't so others can get a chance at owning an UE of this masterpiece.

Then again, I find it odd they've had the Evangelion LE on sale the entire sale and then they decide to put the UE on sale. Everyone who purchased the LE set the past week is unlikely going to want to spend £150 on this, when they've just bought the same discs.

Well, before the page was taken down, it was £199.99.

I think they use the SRP to make customers feel like they're getting a better deal than they really are. It's still a very good price though, if I didn't own the LE, I would have probably snapped up a copy, but I can't justify £150 on some (albeit) nice artwork.

Yeah it is much easier for practicality with the CEs but my justification would be that it is an investment, I dunno like a Rolex or something heh - watch this space, in a few decades there will be people flogging their granddad's precious Eva UE on those pawn shop programmes on daytime TV (I will come back to haunt mine if they dared!)

Damn they got the ALL of the Persona 3 Movies back in collector's edition format for last chance?! I'd have hopped on that instantly last year. I picked up the full box set while in Japan a few months back though so I don't need them now, still I can imagine a couple people will be very happy about this.

Thanks for the heads up. I helped myself to the Perfect Blue CE as I missed the original UE way back, and that movie deserves a special edition! Also got Aldnoah part 1 CE to match the part 2 CE that I got in a previous sale, as the price was too good to resist - yet to watch and no idea if it is any good but my OCD is somewhat appeased heh.

So many good collectors editions have been added to the last chance sale but I already own them all

Pigtails, Momotaro, Maquia and Mirai collectors editions are all fantastic prices and they also have the ultimate editions of Miss Hokusai and Giovanni's Island too.

Not what I hoped the day would bring but one short frenzy later I'm 270 GBP poorer.
Actually just saw the new items hitting the "last chance" pool exactly while in between computer screens (i.e. work and home).
Was a tad annoyed that the Evangelion UE bumped the shipping price up to 26 GBP, the free shipping threshold seemed to be off :/ (or was this meant only for one order!?)
At least the last minute purchase of AL Unlimited paid for itself.

EDIT: the EVA UE seems to be exempt from free shipping, though it's not mentioned on the page.
Messaged AL with the request to refund the shipping costs, so let's see where this goes.

Mostly movies for this top-up of the Last Chance, And it looks like they aren't really that much discounted. Certainly I got Birthday Wonderland CE last year for £5, similar kind of price for Dragon Dentist.

EDIT: I recall importing the Australian Mirai over the UK release for two-hours plus of on-disc extras.
