If you only had the base fan tier, it'll only show the length of your Mega fan gift sub and once that ends, your previous fan tier sub will resume with whatever time you had left.

I thought it was an ideal 'my first anime'. The kind of show you graduate to after watching Japanese influenced Saturday morning toons and a bit of Pokemon, before you try something with bite. Laden with tropes, edgy enough to excite a pre-teen, but safe and predicatable enough to feel comfortable.
