i've never bought anything from the site before, so can someone tell me if
hive.co.uk is any good, they have elfen lied for about £16 which is £20 cheaper than anywhere else.

Never heard of them before at all. A quick google has found me 1 shop review stating they have the worst customer service ever, aparantly someone pre-ordered a month before release and on the day they were meant to recieve the item they got an e-mail stating they couldn't locate the item so cancelled his order.

On another note, £16? wasn't the RRP 50-60? now way they can be making any profit at all on that and I didn't see a pre order price promise.

I think these are quite a sale in pounds but when i try to convert to eur it gets ridiculous. Goddam play and their wierd conversions rates

the thing with play is that they will close down regarding new itens, i think its gonna get just trade so they are dropping down prices of a lot of new things. Unfortunatly i cant buy from them in pounds otherwise i would buy shiki and fma dvds. Well it use to be impossible, gonna try now again.

If you're ok with second hand CEX sell this for the outrageous price of £�. You have to be lucky to have stock near you though and the website charges P&P (not to mention you never know what state the product is in if you order from the site, I've received some DVD in pretty awful condition).

Ahhh yeah, I had a look at that. CeX always serves as a great reminder of how much the value of my DVD collection has plummeted in the last 5 years Seems Fulham and Tottenham Court Road have stock, if I didn't have the BDs already I'd be tempted.

Kinda interesting, maybe they got too many in and want to shift em. I've noticed UP1 try to be really competitive with UK releases but they always have extra P&P and Amazon can and will match them it seems. Makes me wonder if the UK stuff is really viable for them.

Sometimes they find stuff which is out of print everywhere else. I got a Shinkai ADV boxset from them with Place Promised and Voices a year or so ago, long after I'd given up hope.
