TYPE-MOON Thread - Tsukihime, Fate, The Garden of Sinners, Witch on the Holy Night - Discussion and Guide

Extra was neat. I began to like the "Rock-Paper-Scissor" mechanic after a while, and all the cameos from various Type-Moon celebrities were cool (Aozaki Sisters, Arc, Shiki from Garden of Sinners). Fate/EXTRA CCC was also good in all the BB and Jinako greatness (Kiara had some moments as well). Going to be interesting to see what the remake changes, beyond the gameplay (I think the Rock-Paper-Scissor mechanic is no more?).

I am not a big fan of the Bikini Servant concept, but since I like Requiem, I am rather tempted by Erice in the current banner in FGO.

Erice too is confused at what on earth swimsuit spirit origins are.

I'm neither here nor there with the swimsuit versions, as the designs and artwork can generally be quite cool but at other times are just dull or at worst unpalatable. It's always how good the story of an event is that hooks me on to characters, or their "meta-ness", like this summer for example where all the characters are really strong but the story a bit meh. I'm hoping to pull Erice as I really liked the character but never got to finish her event as I started playing FGO in the last day or two of that - really hope it gets a rerun at some point. Fortunately managed to pull all the goldies that I really wanted in these banners (I finally have a Skadi!!) but Erice and Gareth continue to evade me!
 
Super excited for Hollow in particular. I tried to play it decades ago but it was bugged so I never did finish it, but I remember really enjoying it and was pretty devastated that I couldn't complete the story/endings.
I've already done the complete playthrough, bad endings and all for FSN but am I going to do it all over again on steam? Yes. I heard the Realta Nua adds in new bits as they took away the eroge scenes, so that will be new for me. (The eroge scenes in FSN are awful anyway lets be honest. Poor Rin deserved much better)

Never played Tsukihime though, so I'll be looking into that one too. Not to mention the Extra remake. Been waiting for that one for a long, long time.

If you haven't, you should check out Witch on the Holy Night as well. It's the prequel to Tsukihime.
