I'm just talking about this in strictly business terms but...

I have been told before that there is quite a demand in Japan for BL manga, of course if I checked online I'd expect I can't turn for someone who has written another BL manga, but is there really enough to clamour for an adaption for a studio to focus on it?
What is the demand for it in anime? I don't imagine it's as high as in manga
 
I don't get what anime fan problem is with amazon like they accept Netflix over it... If they care about dubs I can understand must people who moan about amazon dont. At least it simulcasts it weekly and at least I can videos on amazon website FUNimation doesn't want to work for me (Thank god CR has got all I was watching so I can unsubscribe)

I can only talk for myself, amazon prime shows are blocked here.. Netflix is WW.
 
I think my thing is I think all they are crap. Amazon has its sub fonts and occasionally lateness, Netflix simulcasting and Physical releases (Which also applies to amazon), CR worst PR ever and **** player and FUNimation doesnt even work on any of my 4 web browsers so im forced to use their apps. HIDIVE also vile PR makes me cringe daily and they dont get many shows anymore so HIDIVE are the best if sentai got shows I like.
My problem is people hold CR in so high regard it confuses they aren't great they are a pass. The increase in cost (reminds me on Monday to get a year at £40) is making me question staying subbed to them as are they worth what i pay for Netflix and amazon no as those have backlog I can constantly rewatch and anime I have my BDs for that
 
I currently dont hold a subscription to anime service because of how poor this season is, but CR's constant technical issues make me wonder if I'll ever go back
 
CR over here in the US works pretty much flawlessly for me, no complaints here. I have 100 Mb internet service though too, which probably helps. I subscribe to CR, HIDIVE and Netflix, although Netflix is mainly for my two daughters to watch shows on, not anime, as I have no TV service in my house - by choice. HIDIVE I haven't watched a single anime on since I started subscribing, though, I should just drop it and save the $3.99 per month. I will never support Funimation's streaming, and I don't subscribe to Amazon Prime, so I will never stream there either.

So basically just CR and a few anime on Netflix, as far as any streaming goes for me.
