Well, the nearest HMV to me is in Northampton, so it seems I'm safe! ... If I ever take the bus into Northampton... which I rarely do...

The nearest HMV stores are all basically the same distance away from me - about 3600 miles, plus or minus a hundred miles or so, lol... I guess I won't be visiting any of them anytime soon. 
The Peterborough branch got killed off which is a shame but I'm not surprised considering it's not as busy as you would expect. The Sheffield Meadowhall one is surprising, though I suppose given we have one already in the city centre probably meant that they felt it would be better to focus on that one instead. Understandable though it would have been nice to keep both considering both get a lot of customers.

I live in the north east, and it was either Darlington and Middlesbrough I was expecting to close. Glad to be proven wrong!
It’s probably going to get a massive overhaul. If HMV want to survive they’ll have to keep using their online store as a competitor to Amazon. At least I hope they do.

@HWR if they don’t have it at FB for good price or at all it’s £13 on Wordery Vinland Saga 1 by Makoto Yukimura (Hardback)
I’ll bear that in mind, need to make sure I actually have the shelf space first!
