Ahh okay I'd missed that news, kind of assumed that Studio Canal would still be handling European distribution given because of the film's connection to Ghibli.

It appears that Altitude films are based in London? (from what I can see on their site) so hopefully a British dub isn't too far-fetched.

If it gets a dub then it will attract families and increase the exposure with more screens willing to promote and show it.
 
It is, I shall admit, somewhat surreal to see people discussing British dubs in anime without speaking on a strictly hypothetical basis any more.

Some new Viz Media licenses: Nisekoi spin-off Magical Patissier Kosaki-chan, comedy series We Never Learn which I think might be a harem manga, and Robot x Laserbeam, a manga about golf from the creator of Kuroko's Basketball (so expect gay golfers).
