I figured I ask Anime Limited about the Q4 Pre-orders on their shopping site and the cover arts for the new titles, got a nice response:
We're working on things at the moment but we'll definitely announce here when they're up. Re: cover art, it's ongoing at the moment - once we have approvals we'll definitely share. I think the next couple of months will see a whole bunch of stuff posted.

We’re looking forward to revealing the designs soon!

Amazon's Exclusive Edition includes this (as a reminder/comparison):
As a few of you may have noticed (enough to make it the #1 Blu-ray on Amazon this morning!), the first listing for our Cowboy Bebop release has gone online—our Amazon Exclusive Premium Edition. We are thrilled today to reveal the configuration details of the release!

Andrew, I think your Ultimate Edition concept beats theirs. Disc wise, they're using 4 Blu-rays and 5 DVDs. Extra content (on-disc) are to be confirmed. Regions are A & 1. Resolution is 1080p (this is what I was afraid of, the series should be 1080i from my understanding).

No Infinite Stratos II Blu ray?

Just Queens Blade Beautiful Warriors for me, DVD only also due to to multi region BD player but as long as both the DVD and BD have the same content as each other I'll be happy.....plus I'm glad to see it out cause I thought since Sentai skipped it and released QB: Rebellion I'd thought the OAV series would never get released at all. I'm just a completist like that

I mentioned about the whole 1080i thing on Fandom Post with regards to Cowboy Bebop, and apparently this is what they said:
Just to clear things up for folks that are confused about the 1080i video existing on the multiple BD releases of Cowboy Bebop...

chronoclast has already explained it thoroughly here, in a reply to me over half a year ago! It really should not be that confusing anymore. I still don't know why some people haven't grasped this fact yet, IT SHOULD NOT BE INTERLACED AT ALL, this Andrew Partridge person who released the UK sets and left it interlaced did not do his homework correctly, period.

Also, as a side note for those talking about Anime Limited's "Ultimate" BD re-release they'll be putting out soon, while fixing the encoding errors and episode typo's on the discs is commendable, it won't amount to jack shi*t unless they've actually IVTC'ed it to make it progressive as it was supposed to be in the first place. If they don't do that, it certainly won't be any sort of 'Definitive Edition' at all. I'm sorry, but if you don't know how to to an inverse telecine (IVTC) in house...just forget it, you aren't worth bothering with.

So basically Bebop should actually be in 1080p but the Japanese made it 1080i, and Funimation's release is converting it to progressive (instead of leaving it interlaced). If it DOES turn out to be better than the UK version then I guess Andrew might as well use their materials for the Ultimate Edition set.

I was under the impression that Bebop was 1080i for the same reason the the Stand Alone Complete BD Boxes are - Animation and CG being done at different frame rates. If the whole thing was 1080p24 it would introduce stuttering in the CG sequences, and you can't have 1080p30.

That was my impression as well but apparently it's not. I wonder if Andrew could answer more about this whole thing.

We don't know what the original materials are like either. The animation could have been done at various different frame rates that would make converting to 24p difficult. I don't know if it has anything to do with it but apparently some of the episodes are scanned at different resolutions too.

I was tempted to get the Australian release of Karneval (which was sourced from the now-aborted Chuang-Yi version) so I'm glad that it's getting another chance at an English adaptation.

Well I assumed they did .....because of violence in most anime.......I mean.....in some peoples eyes.....animation is for kids.....or cartoons if you will.......And having that on cartoon network would make some parents go something like this........

Hellsing ultamte with all.those killings and such
Black lagoon with all that swearing and child killing.violence.....Yeah I know there in like one episode but bear with me.......

If that was to be like it was back in the day........toonami being on cartoon network and parent's would be horrified to see that on tv............

Or is toonami a channel by its self in the US......you get where coming from here......or trying to say..... I wouldn't mind that in our country......

If I remember correctly, Adult Swim was on Bravo in the United Kingdom because due to Ofcom regulations, Cartoon Network wasn't allowed to show adult animation even after the watershed, because services like Sky would have the channel under the "Kids" listing. Even if there wasn't that restriction though, I'm not sure that a UK Toonami would happen, or last very long if it did.

The problem as well is, even if we did get anime on TV (as a programming block or dedicated channel), no one would watch it. The last attempt to do that, AnimeCentral, didn't even last a year before it was shut down. Sure, it survived as a block on Showcase TV for another year, but that was just constant reruns of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Cowboy Bebop in the early hours.

That's what I'm talking .........

We need advertisements and to get the word out there about what anime is like dragonball z that had great advertising for its games......To bad guy kept making the same game over and over and over again

It was.ether

people didnt know that animecentral was on and what it was all about
And
Those who did see it thought it was ether.....

Chinese cartoon porn.....rumours from other people
Or
Children's cartoons

People just doesn't give anime a chance that's the problem........

Look at me I got my mom to be a fan and my dad....even tho it's not his cup of tea is watching monster which he thinks is good but says it goes off the track of the story abit but still says its good........again people need to just sit down and just give it a try......

I mean if they was for example.......basilisk of two ninja fighting they'd think.........bloody hell there's blood in this cartoon....what's this about?.............Well that's what I assume they'd think.

I mean I remember a time when anime was on sci-fi at night....And monster was on tv on sci-fi in the US.....If they showed mature shows like that then maybe people might give anime more of a look onstead of saying.....It's weird, it's complicated, I hear it's Chinese cartoon porn, it's a kids show isn't it?

-_- talk about small minded thinking

Black lagoon
Fate zero
Elfen lied
FMA
DEATH NOTE
Basilisk
Ect is a good example to get people in to anime......we as fans need to get people to watch these sort of shows and hopefully they will like them to suggest it to others and with time more and more people who have seen them will demand more............

I think someone should make a rant video about this sort of thing.

But even most anime fans in the UK don't care about watching an obscure TV channel like Anime Central. Dub fans don't want to watch subs, sub fans don't want to watch dubs, and the content is all old stuff so it doesn't even have the allure of being new and exciting. It's rare that someone would just stumble on an obscure channel like that at the right time to have their life changed, nowadays. To hit it big, they'd have to get something massive like the Adult Swim block in the US with an actual defined audience and plan behind it.

Or the companies could take advantage of the fact that the average new anime viewer is young and tech-savvy, and get more high quality content onto hugely-advertised services like Netflix. It's much more likely to get in front of potential viewers on a service like that than being stuck on an unwatched TV channel at 3am.
