Was that the scene where the dad did something to the daughter?
No. Episode 14, when Yuri drugged and assaulted Ringo, though it's not clear (or wasn't to me) whether the assault actually took place.

I didn't see that did that really happen?

Only once? I hope that's your way to referring to season 1, and not talking in general as that's pretty harsh to say otherwise.
It was and a reference to Cannon Fodder 2 (which had the slogan of "War has only been this fun once before" to match Cannon Fodder 1's "War's Never been So Much fun")

From mvm's fb in regards to getting Girls Und Panzer on BD.

"We haven't forgotten and are still looking into it. At the moment its 60/40 in favour of getting it on BD. We can say however that Accel World will most likely come on BD as well. Not the best of answers but its better than silence."

Huh, that's diffrent to what we heard previous for Accel World.

Interesting tweet from MVM:

(Note: Sam Cham = Samurai Champloo. In case people ask)

MVM did state last year that they are going to try and get more backlog titles an upgrade during a Facebook discussion when a fan asked about the possibility of the Berserk TV version receiving a Blu-ray.

It would be good if they did bring out Blu-ray versions of their backlog titles. I would like to see Canaan, wouldn't mind Fate/Stay Night and would love to see Ergo Proxy. I doubt Ergo Proxy would get a BD though, seen as there is no US release of it yet.

I wonder which ones they would pick for an upgrade...Would love to see BD's of Fruits Baskets, Berserk & Paranoia Agent.

Is it possible that MVM are doing what Manga are doing? Ya'know the whole thing about BD's being cheaper to make nowadays or something? Depending on disk? I'm not sure on the technical details but I would of presumed they would be doing something like this when it came to bringing more BD's out? Being that they're the smaller company.

The BBFC are going to have to go through a lot of changes whether they like it or not with the increasing irrelevancy of physical distribution. It's unlikely they'll disappear, though, so why not take the opportunity to make the rules better while they're at it? Good on you, Joshawott!

No chance the government will probably be looking to widen their remit not decrease it. The BBFC will go through no changes whatsoever as to its core function & if you think that the decrease in physical distribution is going to make any difference to that then you're very much mistaken. As we have seen over the last year there are plenty of ways of both governments & private organisations both monitoring and controlling the internet no matter whatever way you think to avoid this.

The problem is, the British way tends to be to just complain about the things we like instead of trying to do something about it.

Spot on. At least in the US for example you see people actively debating these issues rather than just as we do over here which is grumble about them but still let them wash all over us.

America just complain louder and more obnoxiously about things and insert "freedom" into every other sentence in a vain attempt to pretend they have more of it. End result is the same - The powers that be will do whatever they want and feed it to the people through the media spin machine as a Good Thing.

Will sign your petition anyway Josh. Good on you for not being so jaded that you believe change can still be effected through democratic means. I think I passed the point of no return a while ago.
