Ah that is sad, really amazing martial artist

I'm in a (spring) cleaning (or rather tidying) kind of mood atm, have thrown out loads of old stuff and shredded a bunch of old paperwork from the to-be-shredded bag yesterday evening and this morning - I threw out enough junk from one of my storage racks that I managed to end up with an entire empty shelf which I'm now using to store some useful needed things that were neatly in a corner, but technically on the floor before, it's a good feeling to be letting go of stuff I don't want or need, I tend to hoard but am really working on it cuz I don't want my stuff to take up more of my life/time/energy than I'm comfortable with, tbh with how much I need to deal with it will be a years long job (the paperwork especially), but at least I feel invigorated to start tackling it now, and I am def gonna start properly filing all the new paperwork I get so that new paperwork doesn't become more old, undealt with paperwork at least :)

Hello AUKN, it's been a while (though I don't think three months counts as my longest absence). To say 2025 has not been kind would be a bit of an understatement. On previous occasions when life has been kicking me repeatedly in the balls I've tended to stay quiet until things pick up since my posts cease to be entertaining (and my particular form of brain dysfunction causes me to react poorly to expressions of sympathy) but things are not really improving despite my best efforts to the contrary and I suppose I thought I owed it to people to at least let them know I'm not dead (yet). Bit annoyed that I missed out on the Haibane Renmei simulwatch, though not quite as violently angry as I have been about everything else.

Anyway, we are all living and living is pain, more at 11. This may mark the resumption of regular posting, it may not.

Hey! Good to hear from you. Life can be a ball ache, that's for sure. Hopefully you're back to your best soon.

It's good to see you again. I hope that you can post a little more! To avoid this somehow coming across as sympathy, please rest assured that I will swiftly and mercilessly prune any posts which drift from non-entertaining into excessively dark.

But by all means, if an unsympathetic, somewhat robotic ear with no direct connection to your problems will be of any use, please feel free to hit me up with a private message.

Hey @ayase it's good to hear from you and sorry for my delayed response. I just wanted to echo Rui in saying that I do really hope you'll post more again at some point, whenever you're feeling in the mood to. I always really enjoy reading your posts here a great deal, and I've always been thankful you've stuck around here and didn't disappear. Also please do know that you can always PM me if you want another unsympathtic ear. I might not have much great advice, but I'm always happy to lend you my ears as you have for me at certain points in the past. And while we're no doubt going through different tribulations, I can relate to having my plate full of worries and woes at moment. Anyway, just want to say I really appreciate you man!

Gorgeous! Saw some last week at our local place we walk. I've been watching the peregrine falcon nest live feed from Worcester cathedral on youtube here and there, it is quite calming I find, even when they are pulling apart some guts to feed to the babies! It's such a treat to be able to watch this bit of nature without intruding on them.
Also this morning I saw a mistle thrush for only the second time in the wild, it was pretty exciting as I know they are red listed. I have seen quite afew of them when I worked in rescue but it is far more exciting to see them where they are supposed to be!

I went for a walk with my son last night while his little brother was in scouts, and we had such a lovely evening. I was so worried when my kids became teenagers they wouldn't want to know me any more but he actively said several times how much he enjoyed spending time with me! We saw hares and skylarks, the skylarks nest all over the hill we were walking so you have to stick to the paths as they nest on the ground.

Ah, spring has come to my state of Colorado in the US bringing warmer weather. We had some really cold weather for a few stints of 2 or 3 days when it was 0 degrees and a little lower which is cold!

New metallica boxset is up for pre-order if anyone interested.

I was close by to this yesterday. Went to Alver Valley Country Park with my mum who was back down here for the weekend.
Wanted to see Little Woodham village, but it was closed despite Google saying it was open! Had a wonder around the Wildgrounds Nature Reserve instead because it was right next to it, so still got to see some of the buildings.
