why is it that whenever you defrost a freezer, the bottom is always a miasma of loose peas? no matter how careful you are with bags of peas, or even if you've never had a bag of peas in the freezer, you'll probably find peas on the bottom. I reckon they condense out of frozen air or something.

Peas travel at the speed of lint to be there.

I had a nice day out down Hengistbury Head (bit of land which looks like a dogs leg sticking out in the sea near Christchurch/Bournemouth), bit cold in the wind but get out of the wind and in the sun and it was lovely. :)

There is probably a good reason for it which could be worked out by a physicist. Size, shape, and weight of peas and their properties for travelling over icy surfaces.

Ultimately though everyone is more likely to settle for a much more comfortable answer. It's because of cats.

A transcription of an exchange overheard near Brick Lane this afternoon:

(To an phonograph retailer): "Do you sell reptiles here?"
(Casually):"Only stuffed ones, madam.
I mean sir.
I mean madam.
I mean sir."

Greetings from California :)

I've been awake now for 23 hours :( (11 and a bit hour flight traveling back 8 time zones, currently just after 6pm here.

I'm pondering to go down to the hotel food place to get some food or have a breakfast bar.

Today something awesome happened.
You know that girl who turned me down because she only saw me as a friend that I was going on about a while ago? Well, me and her were hanging about in town today and we went to ASDA to get some things. She paid for her things first and I noticed that the male cashier was hitting on her, in that "too subtle for her to know, but obvious enough that every guy knows" way. Then, the second she turned around to talk to me, the cashier's personality completely changed, he got all tongue-tied and wouldn't keep his eyes off me - never looking back at her.

It. Was. Hilarious.

evening chaps. been a while and thought I'd catch up on some game titles on my PS3. Hence the majority of my absence. Just thought I'd see weather you all still alive and kicking too!

Saw something rather cool today, if you want to take your bike on a bus in the San Diego area, it gets put on a bike rack on the front of the bus. The metro area trains are like buses (you get on at street level and go up steps inside the train).

And i saw a disabled gentleman in a wheelchair being taken for a ride by two dogs.

The bonus at waitrose is 17% so that is paying for next year's trip to japan's countryside! I am using next year's bonus for a extra trip in the summer to japan so that is 3 trips in the next 18 months for me! Sometimes it is worth putting up with the crap at work for moments like this! :D

I bought FMA boxsets to replace my individual DVDs as they would take up less space.

So last week I put the individual ones on ebay at £20 plus £8 p&p, thinking they'd just get one bid and it's gone up to £70 plus p&p.....still with 4 hours to go :/

....So yeah, if you were thinking about selling yours, now is the time lol

after a much in depth talk from the podcast we had, I decided to change my persona skin to the Girls from Haruhi Suzumiya. Handy addon, the only problem I've had is that animated ones seem to stop after a while.

That makes me sad. I sold mine two weeks ago for a lot less. Oh well.
