The General Conversation Area

Explainations of members of the forums are "what you see is what you get" as far as I care. I try to keep things civil about people, even if they annoy me, but usually I just go along with the discussion and handle problems outside the threads.

However, With this particular group of gatherings, I can say I like 90% of the posters around me, and have more respect for them above the rest.

Philosophically speaking, I don't know that we are capable of understanding ourselves... That might take a more intelligent life form to observe us in the way we observe and understand the behaviour of animals. We still don't really know how thought is formed, what consciousness is, etc...

Taking the discussion to a whole new level. ;)
 
Well, I'll be able to walk around on all 4s and climb trees at such a level, but if you think at any time I'd be happy with Tsunami, Washu or Tokimi experimenting with me....

It's from Tenchi Muyo, and they're on a high dimensional plain to us, being goddesses. So if one of them wanted to put us on a planet and treat it like a lab and us like lab rats, then I said I wouldn't mind too much.
