The components to make a computer run is actually very little.
Repairing the hardware side of things is relatively easy and if you need any pointers i will be glad to help.

Oh btw Chaos....log into your ps3 ;)
there's a band called Burn Season...i'm listening to em right now (been ages since i've chosen a song....usually the ipo is on random :p) their worth checking out if you've never heard em before.

Hey all. I just sent a PM to this "abiola"guy trying to sell his random gadgets. I know he may be a bot or some low-life, but I gave him a fair and just warning not to continue (no insults or aggressive manner was used, I assure you).

How's everyone doing?

I aint actually stepping into his threads. I'm paranoid of any viruses that may crop up by going into one of his links. Plus I am generally not interested.

Personally speaking, I know he's gonna get banned, but I still hate that kind of prat.

I did however find out something out...
I've always visioned Imageshack as "Image shack," but I bet someone could easily interperate it as "Images hack."

Just some random info I thought of, I must like seeing dark sides of things.

if you mean the big parts, that's ok, but don't forget the really small parts. I used a guitr string to weld a defective motherboard once, it had to last only enough time so I could get a backup from my crap.
it worked for a whole 10 minutes ! :p

Did you mention your penis issues?
How do you know about such intimate details from Chaz? Maybe arguing with CG somehow made you want to try things from his perspectives?

lol well...if he was building a PC it would be pretty easy to put together.....providing he didn't have to go too much witht he motherboard that is.....there's a 6 block of pins that you connect sleep mode and a few other things to....only trouble is...their so small it can really try a persons patience.
Oh and the ribbons...if he didn't know the pink strip rule it could go wrong......actually skikes....its abit more technical from a first glance :p but after you know what does what it becomes alot easier. the only thing i've never played with is the power reset button...mainly because thats usually hidden away at the front and cased by metal :p

And chaos....does the bot get his ban lifted in a month? ;)

If I didnt fear the fact that I could break possible expensive parts and wire things up wrong, I wouldn't mind learning about making PCs, since my experience with custom-built models (by other people) was a major let down.

The bot didn't even get any warnings, it was a straight off ban. I guess there's an "Iron grip" policy on what's acceptable or not now. ;)

PC building? Eajy. Look at motherboard - add parts where it looks like they go - switch on - enjoy.

As for those bloody little connectors Tach was on about (which sometimes give you no indication of where they go) - don't bother. As long as the I/O and reset buttons are connected who needs flashing lights? :p

Lol i know your just messing....but on the off chance your being serious....your a hazard unto yourself :p
If people want to learn about what does what and basically how to build your own PC i don't mind answering any questions Via PM or Msn...(erm...whenever i appear on msn that is :p could be a month or could be 6 depends on if i feel the need to talk to people online instead of actually going and talking to them or txting)

Well.....you heard about my misfortune this morning? well for lunch i bought myself some fanta....it's woken me up and now things are much better, just avoided a really horrible scenario that started to happen moments ago....but a good few emails and cleverly wording things and i'm in the clear ^_^

Gift of the gab. Damn, I hate you sly and word-seductive schemers. :p

I haven't had a fanta for a while. I did have a Lilt a month ago, but I'm usually fine with the usual Pepsi/Max.

Don't forget 'and others'. :D

To be honest though, that is more or less how I learned (it isn't hard and there's not much can go wrong). I have built several PCs in my time and all are still running today AFAIK, one has been in the possesion of my mate and then his brother for several years, so I take no responsibility for that one. I still have the first PC I built back in '98 at my Dad's (It worked last time I tried it) an old 166mhz with 32mb of RAM.
