Not a big fan of scones.....too bland and dry. i end up liberally coating them in butter. Which is great because i love butter. more importantly i love bread and butter. there's just something about it that tastes so nice, Simply delights i guess.

On the subject of jobs....I've heard that Aldi are alright to work for and know for a fact that the Co-op is a alright company to work for. my mate earns £7.50 an hour. Which isn't bad considering he works for friday night and saturday night only.

Well lastnight was abit manic. my parents got ready and went for a meal to celebrate their anniversary. they took along my sister because she's a clingon. and i went and got ready to go out myself. at 7.20 ben turned up, so we started walkin to sams, leo and ali had been there all day (playing cricket) so ali got changed and we all headed to the moat house pub for a carvery. but it was packed in there so we walked uphill to the hungry horse.....the kitchen was on fire. so we sat down and had a thought about it......either head into town for nando's. or head to leagrave and to a chinese (not a restaurant.....just a chinese take away) so after 4 of us overuled ben (ben lives in leagrave and is terribly lazy so being close to his would benefit him) we headed into town (i paid for the taxi) and we went to nando's. each had half a chicken and garlic bread with chips and peri peri salt on em (extra hot sauce) i ordered a beer and asked for a glass with it, the rest ordered a soft drink so got a glass. then ali realised what i'd done, they'd paid 1.50 for a refillable glass, i'd paid 2.50(roughly?) and got the glass with it, hence having saved myself the added cost of a refillable glass ;)
anyway....ate our meals, then leo went home (he's 17 until next weds so he couldn't have come with us :/ ) and we headed down the other end of town, to the park (a pub) it was rammed full of people, so we couldn't play pool like we where hoping to :/ and a fair few of the people where people i go drinking with on a friday. others where abit stranger.....like some of my staff where in there. so anyway, i made sure that ben had his first yeagarbomb (first time we've taken him into town drinking) and downed a few pints. then lost track of time and decided to head off (as everyone else was leaving too) got a taxi, headed back to sams and everyone walked their way home. thus ends a great night

Wait wait, he gets 7.50 an hour? What shift exactly? 10pm onwards or not? since i work night shift at the local co-op and i get pay and a half, which is 7.50 odd. Normal pay is 5.60-5.70 odd. And i can quite safely say its not that good at all. Order comes in with damages here there and everywhere, when i get my pay, 95% of the time the head office get something wrong and i have to get it sorted via the manager, it is irritating. Only reason i work here is because when i'm home its the only place to work. Its too damned pricy too. I mean i can get a bottle of Irn Bru(500ml) from say, tesco or somewhere for 85p odd, but at the co-op? £1.05. its beyond a joke i can tell you.

EDIT: i take that back, its not pay and a half as it should be, its pay and a third and that is about 7.50(i just finished work not to long back so my head is still a little groggy)

Yeah he does get 7.50, works from 6-10 on fridays and 3-10 on saturdays. i think the only reason he gets that much is that he got promoted to supervisor not long ago and then got a bonus for turning 18 and we also live on london's doorstep so it's not really too surprising.

Ah, supervisor maybe it then. I mean the general rate for 18 and over is in the 5.60-5.70 range i believe, as thats what i'd get if it weren't for my night shift. 7.50 though for a supervisor wage plus living near enough to London is fairly low. I think the supervisors here get more than that quite easily, and this is a rural area, so if he is getting less than everyone here, then i think he may want to query it. Regardless of whether or not he just made supervisor recently or not.

Your still talking work?!

Change the record people!! Last think I want to hear is more work converstaions!! TT_TT

I'm VERY busy today so just ignore me. I'm just going to hover around i the back ground. :p

Sorry Voddas :p

I've just had a 2 hour meeting regarding jobs and the current state of our trust. BLPT is being sold to one of 4 other foundation trusts that are currently bidding for us.
Now a foundation trust is a type of trust that makes its own money ontop of what the government gives it each year. so preferrably each department needs to make more money than it costs to run itself. and as our department makes no money its unknown if we'd be needed or if our sevice will be made to up prices so that we made money. Now thats not the part that worries me. what does it the fact that the two that are most likely to buy us have their own opinions on our department.

Our HR department has always hated our department because we are freestand of them, we run like clockwork and don't need to call HR every week for help (like most other depts) now you'd think that was a good thing right? shows the service is running efficiently? no....one member of HR feels that we are a cost to the trust that they don't need. so feel completely at home with bad mouthing us.

The knock on of that is....the 2 trusts most likely to buy us.
well Hertfordshire (who we work with) know that HR are just ********s. but South Essex don't....so if SE win the bidding and we merge with their trust....they use NHS Professional....but don't like them. so its a 50/50 whether they'd use us or NHS P.

So i'm sat here reading through Redundancy Protocol.....to see what would happen if they disbanded our dept....i'd either be moved to another sector but getting the same money....or instant redundancy.

*sigh* sorry for lowering the tone people.....the outcome won't come out until october and we have a agreement uptil the 1st of april.

On a nicer note......ITS THE WEEKEND IN 4.5 HOURS TIME!!!! :D

Rawr, hello people. I'm back from my lovely 2 weeks at Cornwall with a tan I didn't want (I usually loom under other people's parasols if I can!).

It was great, we went out to sennen beach and for a meal almost everyday, we spent a few days in Penzance (Saturday was something-something pirate day - almost everyone in the town was dressed like a pirate and the festival was amazing!) and surfing was awesome (though some guy rode a wave and cut right across my side with his board and left a nasty slice mark which turned purple after a day or two) along with barbecue's ect... if I can, I'll try to upload a couple of photo's.

Welcome back Wisp. Sounds like you had a good time. GEt some of those photos up so we can gawk at your holiday. :p
I love pirates!! :3

*looks at watch* Gaaah! *ahem* lunch break time now people, so'll I'll be on laters.

@Tachi: Redundancy.... at least the converstaion changed from having a job like. Heh. ;)

^ Heard it, like most live action adaptions didn't think it was worth mentioning. It would only lead to 70% of people bemoaning how terrible it would no doubt be and the other 30% saying "wait and give it a chance" (though you'd have thought they'd have learned by now).

Oh, and afternoon people. :) ::tips hat::

hello all you happy people, back from shopping for food.

Had a "kids say the funniest things" moment there to, with some random 6 year old kid saying to his brother he'll "Whack his willy off"

i had to run round the corner before i burst into laughter, a young peado in the making me thinks

oh and according to Chaz, Torquay is near Lincoln

good times

Afternoon Ayase *tips over a table*

Hello also Zin, I too have heard of the Paprika movie being in the cogs. Like Ayase, I don't tend to get too excited as 9.5 times out of ten, the movies are a flop. But maybe I'm being a little harsh?... Maybe it's just the american ones I don't like.
*shrugs*
I like Casshern for example (obviouse not a US production however). :p

EDIT: Ah, Afternoon to you too Ryo *tips over a second table*

LOL now thats weird Ryo.

Whats everyone upto this weekend? aparently the weather will be lovely :)

tonight i'm heading home, going into the garden and donning a smoking jacket, putting on a comedian had with tassle and spectacles. calling round a load of blonde, perfect bodied lasses with DD's that you could easily get lost in, and being hugh heffner for a night :)

alright....maybe in my dreams. but in reality i'm getting changed, going round bens and chillin. should head back to mine at 11. call sam and ali, head into town and then go to Yates's for a cheap night but crazy amount of fosters.

Just found out the video of me and ben fighting a gold rathian (MHU) is now up on youtube :)

Next thing were going up against:

I though't you were Hugh Heffner Tachi and Zak was just an alias?!?!?

Tonight I'm taking chilling to the ultimate level of doing nothingness!! Gonna head, home, shower, pizza in the over then sofa with beer. Thus ends my evening.
I can't wait! XD

@Zin: German aye... I still don't expect anything, but I always give them a try at least, even when amime fans are throwing up in the cinema doorways after an earlier viewing... lol
I jest of course. ;)

You can't beat it. :thumb:

Right, I'm off into town now so I'll catch you laters.

If I don't see you before, have a good weekend! :D

Ciao for now.
