Yeah I saw something on the front of a paper the other day, I remember you didn’t have a choice with your friend being a teacher or something, but you must have watched enough anime to know it can be unbearably hot in summer in Japan. So the weather here has been good practice 😉

I believe this affair has been going on since the beginning of summer. Well she's welcome to her. I'm eyeing up a younger model....maybe her sister.

It's been declared a natural disaster anyway. Tokyo is 40C, Kyoto has been 38C for the last two weeks, I'm not sure about Hiroshima but three weeks ago they had 23 inches of rain in 24 hours and landslides with a lot of people killed. I think recorded deaths are now in to like 70-odd or something. On the plus side, because only half of schools have air-conditioning they've extended the school holidays so the kids don't have to go back yet. That would've been ace when we were kids, but yeah its a bit toasty :rolleyes:
 
This heat is doing nothing for my skin either. I cleanse my face in the morning but it's all gross again within 20 mins!

 
never been over 30 here, as for what I'm doing? I have to get a new toilet seat since the brother keeps loosening it or something... what's his butt made of that he keeps destroying it?
 
Well wasn't expecting this to happen. Wasps have made a nest in the chiminea we have, due to a getting in through hole in the cover we had on it. My approach is to just stay far away from that area until it gets cold and they die out or migrate elsewhere.
